To get admission in ADGIPS you have to give jee mains or you can get direct admission with management quota. if your jee rank is very bad and you can't get any good IPU colleges like MAIT, MSIT and BVPCOE then only you should opt for this college and only in the CS, IT, ECE and AI ML courses. The infrastructure of the college is decent as compared to other colleges of IPU and I would say it has one of the best infrastructure, it has 2 canteens and a Nestle kiosk ( where you could get Maggie, cold coffee, iced tea, sandwiches and other nestle products) food is like 6/10 and is affordable. college life is very average as there is nothing nearby so you have to travel to get everywhere. Majnu ka Tila is nearby, Hudson lane is nearby and you could reach CP in 20 mins from college. college placement is again average Bpit offers better placement than this college but infra of bpit is much worse
I opted for B.tech in ECE because ECE is known as the golden stream you could choose to go in Govt. jobs, software-related jobs, hardware-related jobs and PSUs all in all it's a good stream because you will have a lot of doors open for you. All colleges in IPU follow the same Curriculum till 2nd year all the subjects were pre-defined in the curriculum but from 5th semester onwards we were given choices to choose our subjects which is cool cause you can study the subjects you want to. All the teachers are ready to help and there is no issue related to attendance people have 10% attendance and they are still okay. after 2-3 months of the semester, there is the midterm examination and after 4-5 months there's the end-term examination. exams are not very difficult and can be easily cleared in a week of preparation
college does provide some opportunities for internships but you can get that only if you clear the application process of that company and get a job secured in the company. if you get the job secured then the company might give you an internship till your degree gets completed but there are no internship specific drives in our college
Placements are 4/10 in ADGIPS no core companies are coming for recruitment most of the software companies who come for recruitment are mass recruiters and some sales jobs are offered. to be eligible for the placement you need 75 per cent in 10th, 12th and 75 per cent in graduation + no active backlog. The average package told by the college is around 6.5 lakhs but that is not campus-based placement specifically. there's not much coding environment in branches like ECE which would help to get you a good job there are various coding societies that you can join for it.
College fees used to be around 118000 but got incremented after the 2021 intake so, the fee structure for B.tech is like this First-year = 149600 Second-year = 137900 Third-year = 130600 fourth-year = 130600 college fee consists of various components like tution fee(1,16,600 for first year then it gets decremeneted every year for 2nd year - 1,11,000, 3rd - 1,03,700 and for 4th year - 97,800), university fees(20,000 fixed), student activity fee(1000 fixed), security fee(10000 fixed ,for the first year only), Alumni contribution fund(2000,one time payment) and a summer training program
Campus life at ADGIPS is again average there is nothing nearby you have to travel everywhere. Majnu ka Tila is 10 minutes away, Hudson Lane is like 10 min away and the nearest metro station is Kashmere gate so you could get to CP in 20 minutes. The college fest is known as Utkarsh and it takes place in February month is a 3-day festival first day is the ethnic theme, the Second day is like Bollywood and the last day will be something EDM or some low-level singer or DJ will come. Fests are very average. college library is very compact but all the books are available which are required for your curriculum. you can play sports after 2 pm there are 2 tt tables, chess boards, tug of war, volleyball, and basketball court, our college have a football team, cricket team and a kabaddi team
ADGIPS does not have a hostel you have to get a PG or flat on your own most people who get PG will stay at GTB Nagar or Mukherjee Nagar where u could get a decent PG for 10000 per month fully airconditioned and with good food quality. GTB Nagar is 1 station for Kashmere Gate so commute will not be expensive neither costly and there are a lot of PGs to choose from there and there are very good food shops
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
