Remarks :
I wanted to get admission in Hotel Management but the admission for top IHM colleges were closed ,then a family friend suggested New Delhi Ymca to my brother and then i did some research and got enrolled in the establishment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teaching methods are good. Professors are very experienced and they are an ocean of knowledge. They help the students very much and support them too. I wanted to do Hotel Management that's why id got enrolled in here.
Internships Opportunities :
I am in the 3rd sem when i complete the 3rd sem I'll be offered internship as of now i am just studying. My professor sends his students to various famous 5 star hotels like The Imperial , Radisson blue, Crowne Plaza etc.
Placement Experience :
Placements are offered at the end of the course students are sent for internship at 5 star hotels and after the intership according how good is the students' work they are offered a job. The teachers fully support with the placement interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Its a diploma for the time period of 2 years of Hospitality and Hotel Administration. There are 3 semesters and the fee for the course is 1.5 lakh when i enrolled. From this year 2024 the fee has increased a bit.
Campus Life :
Carnival is conducted in the winter season. All books related to all the courses taught in New Delhi Ymca are being there in library and we can get them issued. New Delhi Ymca is famous for Basketball and Volleyball and they also teach swimming, volleyball, basketball.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

Placement Experience :
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
