- Best library facility is available for the students.
- The world class sports facilities for the students.
Dislikes
- Identity card rule which is student can't enter into the college without the identity card and have to wear it the whole day till you are present in the college.
- There is a time fixed that you need to stay in the campus till that time after that you can go out of campus.
Remarks :
I have heard alot of good things about the college so I decided to go to this college only admission process is centralised for all the colleges present into the chandigarh where you have to fill the centralised form(online through dhe chandigarh site) and once the merit list comes you will get a sms to deposit your fees either from the online mode or from the sampark centre nearby your residence no other test for the admission is taken. Good aspects Best library fully air conditioned Some teachers are very humble and there to help whenever you need. Good infrastructure Good sports facilities Canteen good and affordable, Nescafe also available, juice corner, book shop, photostate shop available. Smartboard facility Bad aspect Identity card has to be weared into the campus without that you can't be able to enter the premises. Few teachers are rude.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because I have a interest to learn more thing about the subjects. If I talk about the faculty all the teachers are phd holders few are exceptionally well and few doesn't take classes just like honours you will not all the classes taken. For all the teachers there is different teaching methods some teach through the PowerPoint presentations on the smartboard some uses group discussion and few uses conventional methods of teaching. The year has been divided into 2 semesters where at the end of each semester there is a semester exam conducted by the Punjab University in between this the college also takes a mid semester exam which will help the students to prepare for the final semester exams and it makes the exams more easier.
Internships Opportunities :
No internship is to be provided by the college if the student is interested they have to do it by themselves from the platforms available online for the enrichment of their resume which is not the compulsion for the college.
Placement Experience :
Everyone who is interested can sit in the placement drive as after doing this course no such Better placements are available few companies visit the campus for the placements which is dominated by the telecommunications companies and few are banking companies. Few students take the placement and many students go for the higher degrees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the entire course you will be paying around 62000 for the entire 3 year course but if you score above 80% in 12th class exam then you can avail scholarship from national scholarship portal for general candidate each year they will get 10000 as scholarship and I'm the final year additional 2000 will be given. For the sc/st/obc students they will get 20000 per year as scholarship. Other than that you have to pay nothing.
Campus Life :
Life has always been the good aspect into the college you can enjoy with your friends into the campus by sitting in the ground, canteen and enjoying affordable food in the canteen. If the person is sports lover the best infrastructure the person will get here is proper sports complex where the best track and field event practice can be done apart from that proper swimming pool facility, gym, tennis court, huge ground is there. Best place of this college is the Library itself which is at 2 levels where a screen is installed to find the shelf number where the particular book is placed. As we talk about the club's there has been alot of clubs like dramatic club, music club, rotary club and may more which indulge the students in many activities. As I talk about the fests at the college campus no such fest is being organised at such times the college president organises dj party on several occasions like on Holi( no proper time fixed).

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
