- College infrastucture is really good from the entry gate we see a scuptural garden in right side which is very good and the the buildings and classes of the college is very good in condition and the central garden is really good which is surrounded by palm tress
- The crowd of the college is very genuine and good which maintain the college reputation and law
Dislikes
- In some department teacher are less than its need
- The attendence issue by the faculty if any student doesnt complete 75% attendence
Remarks :
In chandigarh Post graduate goverment college is one the best goverment college in chandigarh , campus of The college is really good and Had a heritage infrastructure and very big soprts complex which attracts soports person and it is located in the sector 11 which is nearby to Panjab university so the students also visit panjab university main campus and student centre so the student enjoys both life college life and uni life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As a student of Bachelor of arts i relaised that the faculty of the college is really good and helpful and knowlagable but the professors of some departments are less than the need so the students suffer but it is managed the faculty is very serious towrds thier students future and helping students personally
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee is changed in every year like in 1st year-19747 and 2nd year- 17254 The fee structure is same for the every student but sc has a option to apply a scholarship on national scholarship portal which return his totally fees
Campus Life :
In pggc 11 there no fest was conducted because of it is located on the side of the pgimer and in sports complex sports department didnt allow to use sportscomplex but the cultural programes and departmental programes are counducted on the occasions There is a good library which built in 2 floors and had a great books and there is all kind of books in the library which we want and also had a great opprotunity to a sports player of learning b.ped bachelor of physical education the b.ped department is totally different from the other department and the strictness they also occasionally conduct the sports event There is many clubs in our college like manchitra society , mun, student for seva , rashtriya kala manch , khelo bharat etc.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
