- The college campus is beautiful and has lot of space.
- The teachers are very understanding and teach with great methods.
Dislikes
- The canteen food is not that good but can be eaten as it is made in a clean environment.
- Internships should have been provided to medical students too.
Remarks :
I got my admission through my score in 12th grade. No group discussion was included. Many criterion like caste, EWS, rural area might also help in getting admission. It is affiliated to Panjab University which is one of the many great universities. The fees is affordable and teachers are also nice.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course in divided by semester system. It is of 3 years, hence, 6 semesters. I chose this course as per my interest in biology especially zoology. The teachers are well educated with high level qualifications mostly PhD. The way they teach is spectacular and the field visits are worth it. Mid semester exams occur every 3 months and end semester exam every 6 months. It is of moderate level and everything is taught.
Internships Opportunities :
The college doesn't provide the internships but you can explore on your own by searching online. You can try working in laboratories and performing experiments which will make you learn more about your own course
Placement Experience :
Although no placements are provided by the college but it is nice to do master's afterwards and completing post graduation. If not, you can also try for competitive exams and go for a job. But in my own opinion, going on with your own field is nice.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You have to pay only the tuition fee and nothing else, for students who have practical exams extra fee is included. Books are provided from the book shop which is inside the college itself and can also be bought second hand.
Campus Life :
Many fests take place in college. Various clubs are also there like drama club, which provides great opportunities. There are various participations in youth fests at all levels and college has won various awards too. Library is provided to the students and books can be rented there too. It provides a calm environment for students to study. Campus is also very hygienic and has a large ground to sit and play with friends. Many events keeps on happening occasionally.
Hostel Facilities :
The food in hostel was not as bad. It was nice and even if you wanted to eat something of your own wish, the cook would make it. The registration for hostel is done while registering for college itself. Hostel also has a set up merit for students. It is located inside the campus only. The outings are for 2 days only. Every month only food bill is paid depending on how much you ate, it will be less than 5000.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
