- I like the college infrastructure alot. There are cafeteria and sports facilities as well as classes are near and clean.
- I thing that I like the most is the library faculty. The library are very updated. You can easily issue book for free. The libraries are clean and sitting arrangement is great. Whenever you are free you can go to library and read your favourite books.
Dislikes
- The thing that I dislike the most is the faculty. They should do more research about the lecture before delivering it. Apart from this the syllabus is bit outdated they should teach the students new technologies.
- The other thing that I dislike is the canteen facility. Canteen is good but the food is very average. There are few outlets in the college like Nescafe and verka. Food is not that good they should improve the eating facility
Remarks :
The major factor of choosing this college is because this is one of the best college in chandigarh. This college provide all the facilities like library, swimming pool, upgraded computer system, sports facilities and more.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is updated and teachers are great. Here library facilities are really good you can easily access the book and all the books are updated and there are smart classes as well so that you can easily learn the skills
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship. But at the last semester we made few projects and these projects were evaluated by the external faculty. We need to make projects in web development for solving real life problems.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is there in college and yes placement are provided to few students. I was student of bca at that time few companies came for hiring students. There were few companies in Mohali which came in campus to provide placement and training
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st Semester - 19000 2nd Semester - 22000 3rd Semester - 21000 4th Semester - 23000 5th semester - 20000 6th Semester - 23000 Per year fee was 40000 approx including the examination fee of 2000 per semester.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is really great. There are several types of clubs which helps students in there overall development. In campus you can enjoy cafe and lot more. Participate in various competitions and earn price.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but I can say that mess food is average and hostel room are not that good. Apart from this there is specific timing for Student to enter in the hostel. There are several clubs inside the hostel as well

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
