- I especially liked the encouragement of students by the faculty like in sports, acting, directing, arts etc.
- The college hostel is my favourite as it is very muvh affordable when compared to privvate PG's.
Dislikes
- The teaching faculty lectures will be best, if they promote more practical learning and they focus on completing the entire syllabus before the sem exams.
- Some of the old equipments in some labs are not working and it would be better the college management look into it.
Remarks :
Im from a near by town Dharmavaram which is a major reason made me to choose this college and as well as its a old college which has a legacy of over 75 years providing good engineers to the society. The admission process is through the AP Eamcet exam which I preapred from my college teachers guidance. I got a rank of 13,000 and from OBC category so I got seat in Mechanical Engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I'M afraid of computers as well as Mechanical Engineering has a wide variety of oppurtunities in various sectors soI decided to join Mechanical Engineering. The faculty are well qualified with P.h.D's but they dont spoon feed students as the institute promotes self learning. There will one mid for every 3 months and a sem for every 6 months and they will be easy to pass If one has good command over the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
I completed 2 internships during my course curriculum with no stipend in our college for the core branch students the students themselves need to search for internships. I have done projects on refrigeration effect, CNC milling and design using solidworks.
Placement Experience :
Only the students studying final year are eligible for placements. Companies like L and T, TCS, Accenture visited or campus. The highest package recorded for our batch is 10.2 LPA and the average was 4 LPA. Almost 40% of the students in our 2024 passed out batch were placed within the college campus placements. As Im not placed yet Im willing to work as a design engineer and currently pursuing course regarding the same.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The government of AP paid my tution fee and special fee under the Jagananna Vidhya Deevena a total of Rs.12,850/- per year. The students who are not eligible for this scheme need to pay this fee on their own. There will be a total of Rs.5000/- as caution deposit for the students who takes admission into the college hostels. Other than these there will be no fee if you are a regular student got admission through EAMCET counselling.
Campus Life :
The fests like department fests, cultural events, sports day, formation day will be mostly in March. The department and the central libraries are well equipped with all the required books and resources for the students. The classrooms are good and contains a projector , but need to be improved. Students who are talented in sports, movies, arts and other things will be encouraged by mentors. Students run different clubs such as the innovation club, sports club, fun club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for the college hostel and most of the students do the same asits food will be eatable , the rooms are good, the menu will be good and its very much affordable. The registration for the college hostels can be made by contacting the hostel office loacted within the campus.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
