- The central library is my go to den all the day If I have no classwork , which provided me a treasure of knowledge.
Dislikes
- The teaching methods and the un accountability of the faculty members which when changed can transform the lives of many students.
- The placement oppurtunites and the guidance provided will be a minus at JNTUA for the precious and gem like students.
Remarks :
I'M from diploma background and it's a dream for Mechanical Diploma holders in the Rayalaseema region of AP to study Bachelor's degree at JNTUA. My admission process is by clearing the APECET rank within the desired cutoff and there will be no GD's and interviews. I prepared from the 1st year of my diploma from my textbooks to clear ECET exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was good and it overlaps with the GATE and other competitive exams as well. The faculty are well qualified and well versed and well experienced but they won't teach in a student friendly way rather they will skip the syllabus and the students who can study on their self can surive. The exams were easy if we pay attention towards the subject and there will be a mid for every 3 months and a sem for every 5-6 months.
Internships Opportunities :
I've did 2 internships my minor at Shakthi auto parts with a stipend of 12,000 INR and my major internship at Preach learning solutions with no stipend. I completed projects regarding CNC machining, mecchanical design and bird repellent in fields using solar power.
Placement Experience :
The students from the final year are only eligible for on campus placements, few companies like L and T, TCS, Accenture only visited or campus during our final year as there is arecession all over the world. The highest package recorded during our final year was around 10 LPA for CSE students and the average package is 4 LPA and almost 30-40% of students of 2024 passed out batch got placed despite of recession and fresher hiring. I'm planning to crack the SSC exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I dont paid anything to college expect semester exam fee and my hostel fee as I'm eligible for the fee reimbursement scheme Jagananna Vidhya Deevena (jvd) from the government of AP. The students such as children of Government employees needs to pay a total of Rs.12,850/- per year as tution fee.
Campus Life :
The campus life will be exciting, we can make a lot of good friends, we share emotions, we loose something , we become strong. Library contains each and every academic ,material required for the students. The classrooms in the new complex building are good with projectors. Students who are eager about sports and other activities can learn and grow to any extent at JNTUA. There will be NSS activities, clubs ,like fun club, music club to chill.
Hostel Facilities :
Almost 95% of the non local students choose the colege hostels due to their affordable prices, good quality of food, changeable menu and clean hostel premises, the hostel facilty can be availed by consulting the hostel office of the college and by paying soime caution deposit over there.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Placement Experience :
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
