A small review of JNNCE college
Likes
- College infrastructure is good , they faculty of my branch are the best they help a lot in studies, we enjoy campus life I got good friends in my class the activities help to grow interactions between each other's.
- The faculties do provide every thing you need for your studies and also the internals give in college are corrected promptly by them.
Dislikes
- There are many strict regulations like compulsory fees for bus, and the time table scheduled by college is very irregular of time on each day.
- Some tough subjects portions are incomplete as the faculties try to consentrate on passing students in those subjects.
Remarks :
My home town is Shivamogga itself so it was the major cause, and telecommunications is not available in many colleges around Karnataka so I choose telecommunication to get my BE completed in, there were no group test or any interview for admission. The environment of college campus is very good the faculty and the lectures are very well experienced personally they help alot and provide each and every detail about in studies. For management they will see your rank and based on that they will increase or decrease your fees, keep your documents original and copy ready.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Telecommunication is not available in many colleges around Karnataka, and also the competition is less in this course so I choose this course. Many of them are graduated in Mtech , BTech and PhD's also, they are kind help a lot in studies. We take internal and sem end exam, to internals per sem, and the sem would usually be of 3 to 4 months , 1st year sem end exams were easy and can be scored well , second hand the third year sem exams tough and requires practice and 4th year exam will be easy but there will be project to make.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is min 7.5 cgpa , , TCS , Wipro and many companies visits, there are offers starting from 60000k per annum to highest 22lak per annum this year. Almost 60% of students get placements. My plan is to study M.tec and get a job as a lecturer.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm got admitted by management to tecomu cation branche and ?131000 is my yearly fees that includes ?23000 as tuition fees, ?10000 as bus fees (compulsory) . My friend George T poul he got admitted through SNQ quota he pays around ?25000 as his yearly fees and ?500 as tution fees. Through government for management seats there are barely any scholarship available but if have annual income less than 2lak per annum then you may get scholarship of ?19000 , I didn't get mine due to my income is more then the criteria.
Campus Life :
In college in the celebrate Janvi and many more events like telegma and many other branch events, these are mostly celebrated in even sems . The college library is huge there is every book you need for your course and even journal's and also for compititive exams like GATE as well. Classroom are spacious enough to fit over 160 students and are having projectors too. JNNCE has basket ball court, tennis court volleyball and throw ball court even kabaddi court , also have Indoor games and table tennis, has good cricket field, yearly sports activities are conducted by college and branch wise activities will also be conducted. As students we have many meme pages , event pages in Instagram like @janve2k24 , @telegma2k24 etc, confession pages are also there, and individual branch groups on Instagram as well.
Hostel Facilities :
I'm a daily commuter , but my friend live in college hostel they pay 60000?per annum as hostel fees , they say the food quality is good but they food is same every day, there is canteen also separately from hostel where we have to pay seperately.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
