- I like the college atmosphere the most how there are opportunities all around everyone is doing some or the other thing hence keeping you motivated to do things and excel in what you like.
- I also like the availability of so many books in the library, if u spend one hour every day in the library you could reach places u can’t imagine, the book collection is really good and you almost get everything you’ll need for the next four years.
Dislikes
- The hostels are a little ill equipped and the infrastructure of the hostel is also a little off. But because of the comfort of living in the campus most of the people choose hostel only.
- The mess food is really bad. Some days it’s almost in edible. So you’ll have to spend a lot of money on food because less food won’t be enough to fill your stomach.
Remarks :
Speaking of good aspects, every festival is celebrated and there’s a lot of creative freedom. You can wear whatever u want. The faculty is good too but you’ll have to meet them halfway to get knowledge. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad aspect but there are a lot of assignments. The selection process is pretty fair. There are two exams gat (general ability test, which tests your basic English, maths, logical reasoning, general knowledge) and cat (creative ability test, which tests your drawing and creative skills). The cut off depends on how difficult the entrance was but it’s pretty easy to clear the first round consisting of gat and cat. The second round tests your material handling where you have to make a 3D model. The average of all rounds makes your rank. Gat holds 30% weightage, cat holds 50% weightage (first round- 80%) and the second round has 20% weightage in the final rank. I took coaching for the entrance for an year from coaching centre in Delhi @desizncirlce
Course Curriculum Overview :
Knitwear teaches u all aspects of fashion design with the advantage of leaning to handle knit fabrics and learn knitting and crochet. The curriculum is pretty decent and educated us about everything that’s needed and the faculty is very serious about work so you learn a lot
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven’t done any internships as of now as I am building my portfolio to apply for one . But there are a lot of opportunities for people who would want to model for shoots they get paid a good amount for one day of shoot or model walk.
Placement Experience :
As I am a second year student I don’t really have too much knowledge about placement but it’s better to get jobs through own connections and portfolio rather than relying on college placements for it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Semester fees- ranges from 1.5-2 lakhs per semester Hostel fee- 50,000 approx Mess fee- ranges from 10,000-13,500 Students from NRI quota have to pay yearly tuition fee of around 10 lakhs There are numerous scholarships available like Sarthak, udaan, etc. you can get more info about that directly from the website There is no lab fees or anything of such sorts. Everything is included in the tuition.
Campus Life :
College fest is called spectrum. It is held in January. It’s not v easy to get tickets for it for outsiders. All classrooms have air conditioning Library is accessible to everyone Whoever doesn’t live in hostel gets to have a locker to store stuff in college Sports and extracurriculars is pretty good there’s a badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, football court, and sports like kabbadi are also played. There are different clubs cultural clubs, literary and dramatics, adventure club, etc. every club has an Instagram page that the students run.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is decent, I wouldn’t say it’s too good but it’s really convenient to stay in the campus. Hostel and mess fees is very affordable too. Application for hostel is done online through website. The forms come out on the nift Hyderabad hostel website every year

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
