Yes, During my interview process, I had an OKIC test which primarliy included a group discussion among me and other applicants on a sample case presented by the panelists. along with that i had a personal interview session tailored to see my interests and hobbies and in the end i had a Krea Quantitative exam which was based on reasoning for the most part and my thinking ability
My CS department here has been a standout for me and the labs are always up to date with the latest tech which has been super helpful for my course work and personal projects. the faculty are not only experts in their feilds but also really approachable. i've found their support and advice invaluable, especially when tackling complex projects and internships. the exams here are really not that hard. No exam component in KREA is more than 40% of our total grade and alot of the courses have projects and presentations instead of exams and that makes the course curriculum here unique
In my first year I did a reasearch internship with InKo centre and i primarily researched on the education dynamics of south korea and how they being a small country have so remarkable infrastructure In my second year summer internship, i interned with KREA it team as a product designer and designed the campus ERP module
In my first and second year at krea, i got assistance by the career services office of krea to land my internships and almost everyone from my batch were assisted by the careerr service office. the food here is not that great but it is far better than what my expectations were. the qualuty is better than most of the hostel messes in India as hygiene and other protocols are strictly followed here. The hostel rooms are based on twin sharing rooms and each room has a personal attached bathroom . the hostel costs are covererd in the living expenses cost in the total fees; and the rooms are spacious and are cleaned every alternative day
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
