I personally choose this college based on the NIRF ranking and the placements they provided, especially for the computer science and Engineering stream. The present NIRF ranking of this college is A+ with approximately 3.56/4.00. There is no any process other than the admissions through AP EAPCET and management quota.
The course curriculum is same as many engineering college but the subjects may appear on the other semester compared to other colleges. Academics course curriculum almost contains the topics that are neccessary but, the student may need to practice and apply them on the real world applications for better understanding. Faculty are good in their profession they do teach using the real world examples and some of them even have better projects if you want to work on them.
For the 2024 batch the highest package is 50 LPA from Microsoft the prime recruiter for the campus are TCS, Accenture, cognizant, etc., every year an average of 40–50 companies do visit our college the eligibility criteria for placement is decided by the recruiter the average salary may vary from 4.5 LPA - 6 LPA. Based on the preferences and requirement of the specific company they will hire you for the mass hiring companies and some prestigious companies college provides a company specific training program free of cost.
The year wise fees I'm paying is, 69000/- rupees for year. For management students they paid (during the admission of my batch mates) around 6,00,000/- for the seat and 2 lakh rupees annually. There are no hidden charges for anyone the fee structure may change from year to year but it is assured that you only pay the fees that you are paying from the first year they do not charge any extra fees other than it.
The infrastructure and the area of the college are not up to the mark. But it gives you a pleasant feel in the campus surrounded by plants and trees. The lab equipment is well enough maintained, with many lab technicians. GVPCE provides a wide range of technical and non-technical clubs you can join anyone or more than one as you wish but if you want to join the NSS you need to withdraw from any other clubs in the college. Every department has its own library and college also had a central and digital libraries, you can have access to many books based on your interests.
The quality of food is good and hygiene sometimes it may turn out to be bad but most of the times the food is good the hostel does not provide any non vegetarian food the only thing they feed is vegan food and the quality of food is good. The serve 4 times a day breakfast, lunch, snakcs and dinner. The hostel fee is around 80k per year fee may vary based on your requirements like 3 sharing, 4 sharing. There anre many hostels and pg's near the college on an average they charge you almost the same.
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.
The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.
Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.
The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month. The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.
In my college, the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
placements are good compared to many other college in the area. many companies like deloitte , hexaware , moldtek, ctrls, zf technologies, accenture , infosys, tcs, coditas, rithwik enterprises recruit every year from our college
There are good placements are going on on this university to crack a job interviews and minimum packages are got by some and most got more packages and the more more companies are coming to this university and when we have skill and discipline only we get placement job otherwise we won't get job.
