Remarks :
I think the college is a great place if you actually want to learn about fashion design (be it textile, accessories, tech or communication). You have to give the NIFT entrance exam in order to get admission into the college. The exam consists of three tests. The first two take place on the same day called CAT and GAT. CAT or the Creative Ability Test consists of three questions that total upto 100 (30+30+40). The GAT or the General AbilityTest consists of English Comprehensions and Grammer, Logical Reasoning, Basic mathematics and general knowledge. If you are able to get through these two exams you are qualified for the third test which is the Situation Test. In this part you are provided with a question on the spot and are required to make a prototype or model for the same.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've been liking my course curriculum so far in the second year. The faculties are all very helpful and nice if i were to talk about my department. This was not really the case if the foundation year as there were some faculties who had very high egos and got very weird when you tried to question them. Now coming to examinations we don't really have written exams we're just given assignments to do which requires thorough research on several topics and can get hectic sometimes. There are mid term and end term assignments (30%+30%) that you're required to submit throughout the year and then there are juries(40%) in which you have to present the given assignment in front of a panel of the jury members. Another thing that causes trouble is the fact that people have their own design philosophies and while one person might like what you made others might not.
Internships Opportunities :
You are eligible to apply for internships from the the third year. In the final semester you are required to intern in a brand and present the documentation for it and your experience for your final jury.
Placement Experience :
I'd say the placements at my college are average and if you want a good salary you really have to work hard to outshine the competition. The companies that often recruit from the college are Arvind Textiles, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail etd. You can also opt for off campus placement. The average salary ranges around 4 to 5 lpa depending on your marks and portfolio. Many people also start their own businesses after graduation from the college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly college fees is around 3 lakhs and the per semester fees is around 1.5 lakhs. Additional 10k for the library fees and around 5k for mediclaim and exam fees each are also added to this number. There is a scholarship called the sarthak policy which students who have a parental income of less that 8lpa can avail. It can cut down the fees by 25 percent or more depending on how low the parental income is. Then there are other scholarships if you belong to a reserved category that are also present including national scholarships that are provided by the government for sc/st, obc, ews, pwd etc categories. The tuition fees differs a lot if you belong to the NRI sponsored quota as they are charged with almost thrice or quadruple the amount of fees paid by a regular student. If you belong to that category then your fee would come around to approximately 10 lakhs per year.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is pretty happening with different clubs of the college hosting several events throughout the year. There are different clubs like the Theare club (Mandali), Dance club(Imbue), Music Club(Vritant), Photography club, Literally Club, ESS Club and Environment Club which students can be a part of. There is an annual fest called SPECTRUM that took place in April this year. It is not as huge or big of a deal as any private college fest but it's fun and the stalls that are set up by students always have something to offer to everyone. Now coming to the library also known as the Resource Centre is a really great place to read up on art, design and fashion. Also there is a section of books that includes books for leisure reading (fiction and non fiction) as well. The collection of books is great and one can also refer to the documents of seniors and their Craft Documentation Reports there.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a hostel facility in the campus for female students while the male students can live in the nearby areas or Kudasan, Sargasan and infocity. There are many rented flats and pgs around the area as Gandhinagar has many students from nearby colleges like GNLU, KU and PDPU. The hostel is great and convenient as it's inside the campus itself. It has around 100 rooms which can accommode around 200 people so the hostel facility is limited to the first years as they are given preference during the allotment process. The rooms are mostly twin sharing with 4 to 5 single rooms available. The mess is located just outside the hostel which can be availed all throughout the 4 years of college. If you live with 1 to 2 kms of the college the mess can also provide you with tiffin services for dinner. The food is average but far better than other college's mess food

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
