- i like the facilities provided by the department, the stitching machines and dress forms are accessible to all students
- they will push you to be meritorious and make you join all competitions
- they are continuously trying to evolve their syllabus with changing market demands
Dislikes
- the faculty is biased based on marks allotment for assignments
- campus life is a little toxic and students only roam around in groups
Remarks :
Nift has 2 rounds of exams, one is aptitude test of 100 marks and if selected then there is round 2 called the situation test where they provide a situation and materials and you have to make a product. I prepared for these exams by joining silica institute. there is no gd/pi rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose this course of fashion design because i had the aptitude of it. most of the faculties in the department were doctorates but the teaching method is not that professional, the whole semester they do nothing and by the end of it , they rush the course and assignment submissions. there are mid term assignments and end term assignments which are internals and end term jury which is the final semester exam. the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
we had a summer internship program, i did my internship with jade blue in ahmedabad with no stipend and later on my graduation project with tata trent where i was given stipend. i had given design project brief and had to satisfy the demands of the company
Placement Experience :
eligibility criteria is minimum 7.5gpa. the recruiters include retailers like tanishq , shoppers stop and aditya birla retail. highest package goes up to 80000 per year. around 70% students get placed every year . i will work for a few years after i get my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
i am in nri quota, the fees start from 8lac in first year and went up till 12lacs in the last year. this fees covers tuition fees, library fees and exam fees. the general quota students fees is from 1 lac per semester and 2lac per semester in the last year. the canteen fees is excluded which is around 21000rs per semester
Campus Life :
there are multiple flea markets and small fests happening every now and then. there is spectrum which happens in every nift , and an intercollege fest called converge happens yearly once where students from all centres of nift compete with each other. all the social groups are run by students themselves and are guided by the group of teachers in the committee.
Hostel Facilities :
i did not opt for hostel but my friends did and it wasn’t hygienic or clean. the mess food is average. i stayed in a rented flat with the rest of 10000 rs per month for a room in 3bhk house. you can easily find room mates on a platform called flat and flatmates gandhinagar

The placements for M. Pharmacy is 90% lj ip is the best college in the Ahmedabad for pharmacy, commerce, class room etc the placements is too good in lok jagruti institute of pharmacy the placements for commerce is also good

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

Placement Experience :
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.

Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
