- What I most liked about the college was its faculty as they are all well experienced and very friendly.
- The next thing is never ending opportunities as we have more than 40 campus interviews coming every year and we are easily able to switch the industries.
Dislikes
- Since the college is in the heart of city it does not have much area to walk around and it does not have it's own ground.
- The equipments used to taught the practical is basic and they don't have very modern equipments available.
Remarks :
Usually IHMs are best for studying hotel management course in IndiaI Appeared for the NCHMJEE exam after applying through online.For me the Exam was online and my rank was 2778 all India.I choose Bangalore as my first option and I got it there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in hospitality and cooking and i didn't wanted to do any complex studies so i went for hotel management as it is easy to graduate as well.Here the teachers are well experienced in the hotel industry and they also have teaching experience.we have 2 semester exams per year,so total 6 semester exams in 3 year.Exams are easy only if you attend the classes regularly.cost of study is approximately around 350000? and scholarship is also available.
Internships Opportunities :
Industrial training will be in our 2nd year of the college.College will provide NOC to any hote we applied for.It is mentioned that we have to do training in 4 core departments and get the certificate.I did my training in Taj exotica Goa and I completed 4 months training from there.during my training period I got 1250? per month.
Placement Experience :
50 % attendance is must for sitting in most of the hotels placement,for some hotels this will go up.mostly all of the hotel brands comes to college and along with that many QSR Brands,retails also visits college.The highest and average package package for a management trainee is 4.5 lakh CTC and 3.8 lakh CTC Respectively.last year 200% was students getting placement.
Campus Life :
There are many events organized at the campus and if you attend everything campus life is enjoyable.we have ethnic day,pongal,onam, christmas,annual sports day,food fest etc.sports day is conducted in the month of February.As the institution don't have ground,they book other ground for conducting the sports.every sports,games will be played. there are 4 main clubs in the college which represents four core departments.Hostel is best option if you are a new to bangalore and they keep the hostel very neat and tidy.Food is mixed of south indian and north indian dishes.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
