- The best thing about college is it's placement, coding culture and different events organised in the college
- The faculty of these college highly qualified and very helpful. Also seniors are very helpful than any kind of help you want related to academic or non academics.
Dislikes
- There is lack of our own campus and hostel facilities are only provided for 1st year students only which is a drawback of this college
- The hostel which is provided to the first year student all not good at all mess food quality is also not good that is lack of sports facilities also at the hostels.
Remarks :
As it is a IIT which is a semi government institution of national importance one can get admission in this institute through JEE Mains examination held every year. it is currently operated in MANIT Bhopal. Cutoff: JEE Mains AIR 16000-52000. One of the reason I choose this college is that the placements are really good although it has been only 8 years started. The coding culture in this institute is very good. There are various events organised related to tech such as coding hackathons in inter IIITs level and national level computing with other colleges. The faculties of the college are very well and highly educated. Also the seniors are very nice and helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties of this college are very highly qualified and very nice and helpful. I am currently pursuing b.tech in computer science and engineering. In first year there are 6 subjects namely: 1. Fundamentals of electricals and electronics. 2. Fundamentals of computer programming. 3. Engineering physics. 4. Engineering mathematics. 5. Professional communication. 6. Health and yoga. In the subsequent semesters subjects increases and different computer programming languages are taught. In one semester there are three examinations: 1. Mini test- 10 marks. 2. Mid sem- 30 marks. 3. End sem- 60 marks. Total 100 marks. As in this time computer technology is increasing rapidly and there are many scopes of jobs in this field so you can choose it.
Internships Opportunities :
Since I am a first year student and started my colleges a month ago so I have not yet done any internship but my seniors have done internships in many renowned companies. In 2022 Amazon head offered intensive to 23 students of our college at an annual package of 45 lakhs per annum. There are many third years students who are already placed in different companies and very good packages.
Placement Experience :
The placement statistics of the college is really good in past few years. It has shown almost 90% 100% placements every year. The highest placement till now is of 85 lakh per annum since the college is in Bhopal which is capital of Madhya Pradesh, there are many intensive opportunities available for the students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is about IIIT BHOPAL Tuition fees for year is 251000 In first year extra 20000 charges are there In 1st year you get a hostel for which you have to pay a total of 125000 which includes hostel, mess and travel charges. Fee structure is same for all the students belonging to any caste. If you are from Madhya Pradesh there is a scholarship named MMVY with pays all of your college fee expenses excluding mess charges other than that students from other states have their own state scholarships and there is one more pm yashasvi Yojana scholarship which is given to only few students about 300000/year.
Campus Life :
Since we don't have a campus of our own and it is operated in MANIT Bhopal so there are many common fest organised for both the colleges such as to tooryanaad which is a cultural fest organised every year in month of September. There are many other fests organised and sports events organised at intra and inter IIITs. There is a central library which has lacs of books and journals. Dalal coating club, spiritual club, sports club, cultural club and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 3 hostels provided by the college only for first year students. Hostels are just okay and not so good there is lack of sports facilities at the hostel and less food quality is also not so good. Hostels are quite for the way from the campus so we have to take first which is provided by the college itself. Hostels are really expensive it costs about 125000 for 1 year with includes hostel charges, mess charges, and travel charges.

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
