- The only thing I like about the college is faculties, placement and clubs
- Infrastructure we have only 1 building and for lab we use manits lab we don't have a permanent campus for now
Dislikes
- Facilities are not that good such as bathroom cleanliness we don't have a campus so we don't have a campus life
- As we are in first year we restrained we are not allowed to roam manit campus and a lot of things are not allowed
Remarks :
Actually this was the only college I got based on my ranking in jee mains so i didn't had much chance other than joining this college however I could have join private colleges but iiit is always better than private college so i joined it Good aspect- placements Bad aspect - no campus we use a building in manits campus and some labs that is the only thing we can use in there as right know cut off changes every year so, this year in 2024 my percentile was 75 st category
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum, academics and facilities are good not the top level but still good you can check the curriculum in official website of iiit bhopal I choose this course I want to become a data engineer and this course is good Faculty is good some of them even have done PhD very friendly facilities and the director ashutosh sir is very good person About exam we have mini test mid term and semester exam, mini test happen within the 20-30 days after the beginning of semester and mid term happen before diwali and semester exam happen in the end of semester
Internships Opportunities :
Nope since I am in first year i have not applied for any internship because I have no skills right now I am currently focusing on building skills and on academics right now and will apply for internship in 2nd year or third year
Placement Experience :
Our average placement package for year 2023 was 20 lakh on campus placement to get placement priority you should have cgpa more than 8 Highest package was 85 lakhs My plans after getting a degree is to get a job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total tuition fees of 1 year is 2.5 lakh fees is same through out the entire 4 years of course Hostel and mess fees including bus fees was 1.17 lakhs Fees was same for all the students as well as registration fees There are lots of scholarship provided in our college but the criteria for scholarship such as income was very low so if you have income more than 4 lakhs in general and obc category and income more than 6 lakh in sc and st you won't get any government scholarship however you can apply for private scholarship they won't pay you as much as government scholarship
Campus Life :
Unfortunately we don't have a campus our day start from hostel which is 8 km from college buses are provided by the college but they are not that good as it is old buses breakfast is given in the hostel bus arrives at hostel at 8:15 am lives for college at 8:30 am reaches college before 9 college begins at 9 am and ends at 5 pm we come back at hostel around 5:30 Infrastructure is not so good as we only only one building Fest like freshers party, niimack happen in the college only 2 fest We use manits liberary We are not allowed to use manits sports complex we don't have our oun sports complex however when inter iiit sports happen at that time we can use manits sports complex and only 4th year can use sports complex As clubs we have codame(cooding club), Gdsc(Google developer club), arunodaya( singing and dancing club) you can't join them in first year
Hostel Facilities :
Our hostel is old bhel hostel they are good when comes to infrastructure, cleanliness and food you apply for hostel room at the time of admission hostel are provided by college locality is good as it lies in bhel

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
