- I like the infrastructure of the college which provides you a better of feeling and a enjoyable campus life.
- The faculty of the college was very supportive and cooperative which helped me before exams and as well as in the competitions.
- The college has very big library which has several types of books including your course books.
Dislikes
- The surrounding of the college was not as good as I expected.
- There are no restaurants and cafes near the college so I have to go about 1-2 km to have some snacks.
Remarks :
To get admission into this college you have to give IPU CET exam which conducts every year to get admission in the GGSIPU University and affiliated colleges. After giving the exam I scored good marks and then I research a lot about the best colleges for my course then I made a decision to get admission to this college because it provides a better exposure and all the essential things which need in your studies. As my course request practical knowledge to it has all the equipments to teach the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course has 6 semesters for the 3 years, there are 2 semesters per year and each semester has two exams one is internal exam and other is external exam. After internal exams, external exams comes with a gave of 1 month. If I talk about faculty all the teachers were very qualified and supportive they helped me in whatever possible ways to get things done and to score good marks in the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
I got internship in ABP News, India News with the role of article writer and reporter. Many companies visited in the college like ABP News, India Today, Media Mantra, Arm Worldwide, etc. I got the chance after an interview to work with these media conglomerates I was very excited to work and they provided me a better opportunity to work and get exposure in my field.
Placement Experience :
The college has placement cell which is working at the best level to provide internships and jobs to the students. After 5th semester you will be eligible to get paid internships and jobs. There are several companies with different sectors like media, Technology, advertising visits the campus and choses the best students. The Salary from my course this year was 3 lakh per year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees of this course is around 100000 per year. The total fees of my course is around 3 lakh rupees. It includes the admission fees which is around 40000 rupees. After the yearly fees you paid to the college there is no extra fee charged from the students. The fees increasing per year as I took admission in 2021 and now there is a difference of around 30 to 40000 rupees.
Campus Life :
The college celebrate annual festival per year and also a fairwell for all the pass out students per year. In the middle of year there are several festivals celebrated in the campus like Ganesh chaturthi, Holi, Dussehra, etc. Beyond this there are several social groups and clubs in the college like NCC, NSS, UBA Pro Bono Clubs, Legal Aid Society etc.
Hostel Facilities :
After getting admission into the college you can talk to the reception to get hostel in to the college. The college has very good infrastructure and good quality hostels which has all essential things and equipments that are needed for the study for the students. The food you will get will be different on everyday it will provide three meal per day.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
