Likes
- I love the greenery and scenic views of the mountains and the roads in between the jungles with rivers flowing as well
- I love how the faculties are always helpful as well and how there are cafes in the campus all around
Dislikes
- I dislike the fact that I get less practical classes and knowledge in the first year of Petroleum engineering
- I also dislike the fact that the University campus is so far from the city almost 30 kilometres
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college is facilities provided by the institution on theory and practical knowledge with the help of industry grade equipment and vast resources since it was a University based on petroleum engineering there was a test UPESSEAT to check whether a student is eligible or not
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course that I have chosen is great at this university and the faculty is great as well given you get old faculties the curriculum is well built as well tha exam are taken timely as well with a moderate level of difficulty
Internships Opportunities :
I've yet to opt for internships but for what I know is that I have to go for the social intership with srijan and will probably look forward to the in campus internships as well with great prospects for the field I've chosen for my engineering
Placement Experience :
The University offers great campus and out campus internships opportunities with mandatory srijan NGO 3 month internship and many big hugs MNCs and shark companies come for in campus internships as well with different processes for different companies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees is around 4.5 lakhs per year and the caution fee is around 10000 rupees there is scholarship for students from 5% to 30% and it's based on merit of boards marks and sports quota it will not increase in the duration of your degree
Campus Life :
The life in campus is great you get to stay in campus till 8:30 is your an outside pg/ hostel student and if you're in campus hostel you get to roam in campus with new people all around you till 10:30 and it's the same for blood and girls. The infrastructure is great as well there are many clubs and student led chapters in the campus too help students to learn things and too develop soft skills.
Hostel Facilities :
I've opted for the interview campus hostel Bhidoli with triple sharing bedrooms and common washroom the news has appropriate timings with governor food with good quality and taste of food the hostel is quite affordable and has an easy registration process

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
