- The infrastructure of our college is very amazing and it is continuously growing day by day and the facilities in our college also getting enhanced. There are several blocks which are divided in order to provide better teaching environment to the students of different departments. Faculties are very cooperative and very helpful to students. The campus life in UMU is overall very good.
- The events that are organised in the college brings o a lot of positivity to the students and it is also individual experience and understanding too.
Dislikes
- The duration of the college day is very much long and is need to be revised or shortened in a new order. There is no other thing to be disliked in UMU.
Remarks :
I got to know about this institution from my relatives and friends. I got to know more information from the web. During the admission process it is needed to submit the important documents. There is no addmission test needed during addmission. The eligibility criteria for my course (BTech in CSE) was 60% in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of my course in this college is very well designed and maintained. Our faculties are very amazing and very much helpful. They are very well experienced in academics and very cooperative with students. The semester examinations always held in a structured way at a correct time. The difficulty level is not too high but it is always easy to moderate (however this depends on the preparation of the individual student). While if we discuss the teaching method, the faculties helps the students understand various range of topics and they always cooperate with students when it comes to doubt solving. They also provide detailed notes in theory and practical classes.

In our institution, The course fee structure for BTech CSE is as: Tution fees- ?60000 Examination fees - 3000 Course registration (on addmission time): ?11000 Training and development fees(one time): ?5000 Caution money(Refundable): ?5000
Campus Life :
In the college, we have access to many facilities such as libraries, laboratories, smart classrooms etc. There is a good availability of journals and course books in the library, and can be issued by any student carrying library cards that keeps record for the issuing of books. Every year, several departments organise different celebration like Engineer's Day, Pharmacists day and many more.Colege fest named USHMA is organised every year in February that runs for 3 to 4 days. Many sports events and other cultural events are orgnised. The social life is very amazing in UMU

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
