I chose this college because of I am inhouse students in this college and i have to prepare for CA foundation that's I took this college because of friends. And my college is quite, there are faculty who are well educated and college campus is decent too. And college doesn't take any interview or written test to take admission. You just have met the cut-off criteria and you are good.
The course I have took is Bachelor of commerce so I can tell you about this. The course curriculum is good and is cover a broad range of subjects because of this NEP that college has implemented just this year. And because of NEP you have to take other course which is mandatory with hardcore commerce subject like account and commerce etc. I chose b.com because of its compatibility with CA course. The faculty are very well-educated and good at teaching. This is one thing I can assure you. All the college faculty has clear This exam called NET and they are all good at what they do. The exam college college conduct is twice a year every 6 months before Diwali and before summer vacation just like other educational institutes
Yes, i did in my first year after the exam and i worked at travel and tourism company which is located in Wadala too. With stipend around 6,000-7,000. And I mainly got tasks like excels, PPT and presentations.
The college does provide internship and part time jobs for students throughout the year and Mainly after exams before summer vacation for students. Few recruiter who have came to college for placement which I remember is HDFC, ICICI PRUDENTIAL LIFE INSURANCE, AND ONE OR FEW. The average package students get around is 5 lacks to 6 lacks per annum and around 45 percent of students get placement. And my after degree is to prepare for competitive exam while also doing a job.
The college charge around 8000-10000 every year for bachelor's of commerce in 3-year course. The college fees include everything like tution fees Administration fees Exam hall ticket fees Sport and curriculum Gymkhana fees Development fees, and registration fees everything. You have to pay the fees in once at the starting of the year. The college also provide scholarship for economically backward classes and minorities and through hard-core documents verification. For the other courses fees vary and for example one of my friends who have taken IT and paid fees of 45,000 for only one year and yes, fees does slightly every year like few hundred or one or two thousands.
Social life is good. You can meet many people in the college canteen. And the overall environment is decent and students are friendly too and students don't bullies any student or anything. The college conduct swastika every year before summer vacation before exams in somewhere between March-April. There a wide range of books are available in library and should around 2000 books and sitting capacity of 200 hundred students in library. The amenities are decent like classroom is clean and have fans, tubelight, projector and traditional blackboard. The college also conducted tournament with other colleges too in sports category and in large range of sports category.
I didn't opted for hostel so sorry but my friends who have opted for hostel told is that pg rooms are okay and the facilities are not some fancy but decent too with basic amenities that individual requires
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
