Honest review of CMR university

- The faculty is one of the best you'll find in bangalore
- And about infrastructure our block is really good compared to engineering block
Dislikes
- There isn't any shop nearby where we can go and buy stationary
- There will be one fest per year that to they'll charge minimum 500 on entry ticket from students
Remarks :
Compared to other colleges in bangalore here fees is relatively less. And we have a separate block dedicated to designing so we can concentrate without any issues. The faculty is really experienced and good
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is really good. They teach like how we teach kids they explain every single point without getting irritated. The exams are not hard. If you do your assignments and projects at time it'll be really easy to score good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I was given an opportunity for doing internship but due to health issues I wasn't able to attend that. In our first year college provided us with internship but 2nd year we were given the chance to search and do
Placement Experience :
As we are the first batch in Designing I'm not aware about campus selections but according to our faculty 100% placement will be there and the package isn't announced yet. But the minimum package would be around 40k per month as we are less students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm doing my bachelor's in product designing in CMR university bangalore. Our fee per year is 250000 and it has been increased to 270000 now. You'll get scholarship in starting if you get 80% in 12th. That scholarship will be of 20000.
Campus Life :
Currently our college is still in construction. There are some new buildings that are going to come. And about events there isn't any support from the college management so we as a separate course (designing including all 4 streams) collect money and do fests and during any fest our designing faculty helps us a lot
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel in 1st year. The rooms were pretty decent and food was okish. Sometimes the food used to be good and most of the times it's not good. Other than food the only issue while staying in hostel is that there isn't a single shop open after 7 near college. If there was some medical emergency we had to go 8km to reach nearby hospital. Most of the students who stay in hostel don't have a bike to go there. And there isn't a single shop for around 6km near hostel

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
