Likes
- Facilities are quite friendly except few. Mostly they are very good.
- Campus has positive vibes and entertainment
Dislikes
- Gate pass issue as if someone has to go out for buying even vegetables they have to apply for gate pass 24 hours ago , these are only for girls not for boys, their gate pass are approved on a moment itself.
- The uniform system, it just feels like school days, no feel for college life.
Remarks :
No interviews were taken, they have firstly told that they will conduct an interview but lastly they just mentioned that i am lucky and i have got the admission, that was my experience else I don’t know.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If I talk about the faculty except few of them else are quite friendly, academics are quite well, new experience are gained as sometimes experienced speakers are being called from different industries and else, curriculum are also good, different academic events are being organised.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet because I am currently in third semester and the internships for our course starts from fifth semester, online internship provided on LinkedIn is another thing but offline internships provided by the college are in fifth semester.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not too good, you have to devote all your attention and yourself then only I guess you can grab it, best resume, active LinkedIn profile else. Many companies comes like Disney from US but demands 300000 and more money just for internships no guarantee of placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The entire fee for the course is 410000, accommodation (hostel) are taken separately which is increasing per year which i personally find very annoying, else during backlogs and detention they show partiality as from business school students they demand 2500 per subject and CSE students they just demand 1000.
Campus Life :
Campus is quite friendly, many outlets are their for us to explore, if we talk about different clubs I personally is not satisfied as it demands money for joining clubs ( clubs useful for academics) else entertaining clubs are free like singing aur acting clubs. Infrastructure is awesome.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are quite good , food is sometimes good sometimes worst. We have been provided a link on our registered email while the process of admission if we opt for hostel option and then a form in which we have to fill our personal details for gate paas and else. Infrastructure is more than an average hostels quite good.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
