- World class infrastructure, AC Classrooms , lush green campus with huge sports grounds and sportorium with facilities for indoor and outdoor sports
- Well trained faculty, awesome campus life, night view is worth watching . Chilling with friends here is great fun. Concerts held time to time are great to attend
Dislikes
- Moving in and out of college is very hard since we require gatepass and parents' permission everytime we have to go out of hostel. Very strict rules are there
- The college lies on the highway ( outskirts of city) . Hence there are not much places to visit around the campus.
Remarks :
Good aspects: Well maintained infrastructure, good placement opportunities For admission there is an online test which includes aptitude, reasoning and english followed by an online interview. It contained basic questions. Since i had appeared for CAT, almost all prepartion was done.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am quite interested in finance as it has better career opportunities for me. Faculty is well qualified all are PhD holders and guest faculty is also well qualified( mostly CA's). Exams are held after completion of each module along with continuous internal assesments including presentations and reports .
Internships Opportunities :
As of now there is no internship i am doing since its the beginning of semester but companie are visiting the campus for same. BNY and Zaggle have already visited. But mostlu by feb almost all students will bag an internship.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement varies copany to company . Nut overall students should not have any backlog. Deloitte, BNY(9), WIPRO(14)etc. Highest package :12 LPA, Average package: 7LPA. Placements are 100%. I will opt for job after degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees for 1 year: INR 400000 Semester fees: INR 200000 which includes INR 1,80,000 as tuition fees +INR 20,000 as career advancement fees Registration fees: INR 1100 Scholarships available for SC,ST,OBC and financially weaker sections
Campus Life :
Rangrezz fest occusrs once in every four years. But regular basis comedy shows and concerts occur. Sufficient quantity of books is available for all students in the library. Classrooms are fully AC and have smartboards, projectors, LED's. Various music, dance clubs are there for students like Dhvani for music and so on.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i have opted for hostel. Mine is 4 seater room with attached bathroom and washroom. Food quality in mess is good. Wholesome menu with tea/ coffee/ milk as per menu . Fruits are given twice a week. Laundry facility is also available. Registration for hostel is done at the time of admission. 72000 fees per semester including room rent, mess and laundry charges.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
