The factors I considered were- Affordability : As fees mentioned the course is relatively very affordable when compared to other private college or universities. Quality education : The teachers are well qualified and they put their best effort. Exposure : The complete vibe of north campus of delhi university nourishes your personality. There were no interviews but there was the common university entrance test (CUET).
The course curriculum is very sound compared to other universities all nesseary factors are considered while making the blue print. The academics is really good and above all the faculty is very supportive and focuses on building the students career and they are friendly too. I had to pursue my chartered accountancy with a regular college and what's better than delhi university so I gave CUET and I got admission in Kirori mal college on the basis of cut off. The difficulty level is moderate.
I have not opted for any internship yet as I am pursuing chartered accountancy. But availing internships is not really hard. Throughout the year so many opportunities comes to our campus including the VC internship, principal providing intership, society's providing internship and ofc the placement cell's internships.
The college has its placement cell named avenues and they provide internship every year by organising an internship fair in the college itself. Many new companies and companies like Zomato and swiggy also participates. Also the societies also helps in availing internships. Placements: for placement one should have soft skills with the skills matching to the title of job. Also if you have a good CGPA throughout your degree the placement becomes much easier. Big companies like Deloitte, mc Kinsey, KPMG also takes part in the placement session which is held in the beginning of third year.
The yearly fees for the first year was 12840 and in the second year it went up to 15500 per year which is compulsory to be submitted at the beginning of odd semester. The above mentioned fees consists of all the charges meaning you'll have to pay nothing extra for anything.
The overall social life is good but one should be engaging for that like if you are a social person you can make friends easily but if you like to live alone, you easily can. The infrastructure is okay (Not so good). There is no AC in most of the classrooms and lacks in providing basic necessities. Sports: almost every sport has a official team of college( ie. Football team, cricket team etc.) Extracurricular activities: there are numerous opportunities in college throughout the year. Also there are so many societies in college where you can do networking and learn many things.
I opted for the hostel but the hostel was allocated on the basis of cut off and my marks were not enough to get me a seat in the hostel. All I know about the hostel as an outsider is that it is very affordable and the food is amazing.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
