- Faculty is great but the specialisation teacher are not good atleast of first semester
- Hostels are built great but the quality is mess food is very poor
Remarks :
Being honest, the eligibility criteria is minimum 50% in class 10th and 12th, and the admission criteria is UPESMET i.e. UPES Management Entrance Test, it doesn't matter how good or bad your exam went the college will send you an admission letter .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The overall faculty is great, and my reason to choose this course is the UPES comes under top 5 B-Schools which were providing B.B.A. in oil and gas Marketing, and secondly why I chose this college was that it was near my home it's just 90 kms away from my home so to my home on weekends as it's a 5 day college
Internships Opportunities :
My internship have not started yet but, but It is in progress with cognizance IIT Roorkee, so yes the provide you with opportunities, then afterwards it's upto you how you grab it (there is no salary or stipend in the first year internship)
Placement Experience :
The campus placement looks attractive when they tell that the highest package was 50 LPA, be aware it's not the in hand salary it's the CTC i.e. Cost To Company, which even includes the cover you your health insurance
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you are from uttarakhand, and your family income is below 12 lacs, then you get 30% scholarship (only on tuition fees), you do not get any quota like sc, st, obc, and the entrance is not even tough
Campus Life :
The main fest is Urja which is held in October, and the second fest is in February i.e spandan, talking about library, yes it does have limited books so if you get the books at the start of the semester it will be better,
Hostel Facilities :
The campus is beautiful, but but but, the hostels a big disappointment, the are well furnished, but the mess food becomes a big no for taking hostel in campus, but if your priority is safety them you should go from otherwise the in campus hostel is 251000 for ac room and if you compare it to outside campus then the price is approx 200000 which is a huge difference

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
