- College has a huge library, a lot of place to sit.
- The auditoriums are really good and the concerts are beautiful
Dislikes
- the food corner is mediocre as hell and overpriced except the juice corner
- library is kinda old and outside is dirty
Remarks :
Gogte institute of technology has a huge name in karnataka, everyone i asked said it’s a great college and the people who found out i got into it said yeah you’re surely getting a job as soon as you’re done there, and further research also shows that it’s the best college in belgaum and really reputed, also recommended by all my friends.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose electronics and electrical because of all the job opportunities this course offers, the faculty here are great, and really strict about their attendance though, but other than thag teachers are really supportive you can ask for anything and you can get their help to get internships and stuff but i’ve just entered 2nd year so i don’t have a lot of experience.
Internships Opportunities :
haven’t opted for any internships but our college provided us with free certification course which will help us to get internships, and if you try, even without a lot of effort you’ll surely get internships i think.
Placement Experience :
from the things i’ve heard there’s huge amount of offers, always reaching close to a 1000 and if you’re in the eligibility criteria you’ll surely get a job, i don’t have a lot of exact numbers cause i’m in the 2nd year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
in the first year it costs around 1,20,000 including all the lab fees tuition fees lab fees etcetera and in the second year it costs around 1,10,000 including everything i’ve mentioned, for management there’s extra lab fees i’ve heard but i’m not sure about it, i think for management it’s 1,40,000 and for comedk it’s 1,30,000.
Campus Life :
Social life is so good here compared to other colleges, people are really good and friendly, you can find people like you here doesn’t matter what type of person you are, there’s a lot of clubs, lot of social events, you can easily meet a lot of people, also concerts are GREAT.
Hostel Facilities :
I don’t think you should take admission in the colleges hostel in any floor other than the top which has attached bathroom, the rest of the floor are dirty, affordable but dirty, top floor costs around 35k and rest of the floors cost 28k-30k.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
