Likes
- The good things are that the college has good environment nd good teaching staff plus there is not very much strictness for attendance or anything else different societies heps to express our talent.
- All the equipments and Machines required for the experiments are available to us and the use of modern technology like use of smart board maks everything easy to learn and understand.
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is not so good there is only a single building that only for one department the rooms heat up so high during summer so the college should work on it.
- The college doesn't focuses on future of sports and other talents there are not inter college competitions and all the sports equipments are also not present plus the timings of 9 to 5 becomes so harsh and difficult for students
Remarks :
I choose this college specially because of the course biomedical sciences it's is provided by only 3 colleges in the Delhi University. For taking admission you have to give cuet exam taken by NTA no other interviews or tests are taken.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very good for the students intrested in medical and science related field very deep knowledge of all the subjects is provided in this course but this affect timings you have to attend regular classes continuous 9am to 5pm The exams are held only semester wise 2 times a year.
Placement Experience :
To be honest the placement facility is not very good in our college especially in science courses and my course our passed out seniors didn 't get any placement neither there is any hope for ours. Students of my year are planning to go for further studies and entrance exams
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of course biomedical sciences is higher than the other courses yearly fees for third year is 24,334 for the second year it was 20,915 and for first year it was nearly 21,000 for the general and OBC category not much relaxation is provided to other categories barely of 1,000 ruppes and you have to apply for various scholarships you will be granted if you are found eligible
Campus Life :
The college has a good social environment there are multiple societies in our college like dhun , dhvani , nss etc in which you can indulge. An annual fest , Diwali mela , dandiya nights are also organised annually during festive season. The sports room is also available and we have a good library .

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated
