Remarks :
It is a government based diploma institute. It is the most renowned college in the whole kumaon division of Uttrakhand. Yes there is an annual entrance exam named JEEP which is held each year for the entries of students. This is a MCQ based exam where negative marking also prevails. Some good aspects of our college are the infrastructure, the faculty, the well behaviour of the staff etc. The main aspect which attracted me the most was the ground of the college. A number of sports can be held here. The bad aspects are the location, the noise pollution as well as the land pollution. I didn't prepare much for this entrance test. It isn't any high level exam. Mainly, the questions are from 9th and 10th standard. Hope this helps.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is an easy and promising course which provides a good opportunity. The faculties are well educated having at least a bachelor. The term examinations are held every 2 months. While, the semester exams are held every 6 months which are not very difficult. NSP is the scholarship programme which is given to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category which is ?9000.
Placement Experience :
Placements are organised every year for the 5th semester students. Mahindra, Tata and Leyland are some of the recruiters. Highest package is of ?800000 pa. The avg is ?300000. Approx 50% are provided placements each year.
Campus Life :
No fests are organised except freshers party. The library holds every books of each engineering branch as well as of pharmacy. Sports include cricket, badminton and volleyball. NSS is available. For the hostel, the mess is fine (not such good). Menu includes paranthas and grams in the morning, rice and various pulses in the noon and bread and veggies in the dinner. You can register for the hostel facility which has a admission price of ?4000 annually.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
