- Views: the beauty in and around the campus is breath taking .you won't be bored travelling.
- People: people here are very generous and kind. All the seniors I've met have been very helpful and open. No raaging policy is very strict.
Dislikes
- Monkeys: the campus has a bit of a monkey issue. Too many monkeys around they steal food and things.
- Rain: it rains EVERY DAY. Maybe even for 2-3 days straight. You'll be wearing good clothes and regret it as soon as you step out.
Remarks :
My reason for this college was it's labs and the course. I am not a very academicly strong student so I just wanted a college with my course(Btech AEROSPACE). The exams here are hard but lineant. Class attendance is monitored regularly and rules are strict regarding the same.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose aerospace because it allowed me to see my childhood self from up close. The faculty are well qualified and the teaching methods are good too. Only thing is the student, if wants to study he will and if does not wants to then he won't. There is no one to spoonfeed.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for internship yet as I'm still in first year. I will have to compulsarily join one after my 1st year. It will be an NGO internship to make me accustomed to the environment. This can be done both on the college help basis and personal basis
Placement Experience :
I am not going to lie. The placements are bad. Although they claim to give 100 percent placement but it's fake. Also mass recruitment is something of an issue. You can opt for higher studies or off campus placement for better Clarity in life.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly we pay nearly 4.5 lacs with an increment every year Year 1: 410k Year2: 440k Year3:474k Year4:508k Hostel charges and other miscellaneous charges are separate from the above. You can expect about 2.5-3 lacs of these miscellaneous charges each year. The admission process is quite easy just give the upesat and get selected. You'll most probably get the course you applied for as it's a private college which overbooks the seats to a heavy extent. Management system and quota system both non domicile and domicile apply here. Overall experience of the college is above average as the studies are a bit on the lineant side. If you only want to come.to the college for the sake of it and to roam around then this is it it's got breathtaking views and places to visit. Scholarships upon admission are also given. For details you can see the website. It's a fairly good college if you put your mind to it. The night life is not much as its located on mountain.
Campus Life :
The co-ccurricular life here is actually pretty decent. Although not very flashy they organise fests and other events. They have chapters and clubs to join and improve your skills. The seniors here are very very friendly and helping .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food quality is utterly horrible. The food outside near the campus is amazing. Infact the food court is also very good. There are many pg here to stay if you don't get a hostel. Hostel registration form is released each year and it's given on a first come first serve basis. The hostel is also around 1.8lacs and overpriced for what is given.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
