- There are a lot of clubs in the college And they conduct lots of events.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is very old. It's needs to be renovated. The classroom benches are uncomfortable.
- The hostel is below average. It really needs to be developed.
Remarks :
Basaveshwar Engineering College Bagalkot is one of the good colleges near to my town. It has good placement offers and is also a reputed colleges. It has government aided Idea Lab which is not available for all the colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties of our college are highly qualified and experienced. All the teachers here have minimum experience of 16 years of teaching. They are really good at sharing their knowledge with us. They also are good facilities in the college
Placement Experience :
Our college has good placement records. Many good companies like Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, HCL, etc come to our college and offer us. The highest package of our college was 15LPA from the Computer science and Engineering department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly tuition fees of BEC Bagalkot through management quota is 530000 (excluding hostel fees i.e 60000). Through Comedk the tution fees is 281000. Through KCET tuition fees is 130000. If you are eligible for SNQ quota the fees is 37000.
Campus Life :
The social life of our college is very good. Our campus is of 90 acres. We have total 14 clubs in our college and we also celebrate lots of events in our college, many cultural programs. We have sports club, BEC Dhvani(singing), coding club, photography club, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess is average. The rooms are also not so comfortable. There are no attached bathrooms for the rooms in hostel. They give us snacks on alternate days. On Sundays the cooks are on holiday in the evening.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
