Course Curriculum Overview :
The ever-evolving field of VLSI and embedded systems fascinated me a lot, so I decided to opt for this course. The faculty is well-qualified, with almost 80% of the faculty having a doctorate. There will be two internal assessments and one external assessment per semester, with difficulty levels ranging from easy to hard.
Internships Opportunities :
Several companies visit college and offer internships to students during their pre-final year of study mainly SDE, Full-stack roles, and cyber security, based on their performance during their internship period they get converted to full-time roles.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are provided by the institute to students who want to opt for it. The eligibility criteria vary from company to company, in general, a student needs to maintain a CGPA of 7 or around 70 % to sit for placements throughout his/her course. The highest package was offered by Cadence for the previous batch and Applied Materials for our batch and typically the average package is around 4 LPA.

The annual fee structure at Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkote varies by various programmess typically on an average it costs around 111000/- including other fees. The course fees for management quota depends on the programme you are going to opt. Scholarships options available to students based on merit and socio-economic status. In general various scholarships are available from goverment agencies and loans are more accessible from various at lower interests.
Campus Life :
The social life on the campus is pretty decent, with various clubs conducting extracurricular activities. The main fest is NOVUS, a national-level technical fest conducted by the IEEE Student Branch of the college. The library is well equipped with various volumes and good collections of books as per student and faculty needs.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is well maintained, has good food, and has decent rooms. It also provides internet connectivity for senior student hostels. There are several PGs available on and around the campus. The menu typically consists of north Karnataka cuisine.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
