Remarks :
There were many factors for me choosing this college It is one of the 5 gov. funded IIITs so fees is less comparison to other IIITs. on my rank in jee main i was getting AI&DS here so i choose it . you can get cse here if your rank is below 35000 , this data is for general only , for more details on ranks you can visit josaa website. the sports facilities here so good , it has a permanent and 150 acers of campus all basics facilities like super market , canteens , travelling is available .
Course Curriculum Overview :
My branch is AI&DS and the curriculum is good here as i like it can vary person to person , in our curriculum we have classes from monday to friday , saturday and sunday is holiday, different subjects including labs are being taught for each of them some credits are defined and to get a b.tech degree it is must to have at least 150 credits. All the faculties are highly qualifies professors with experiences ,some of them are also from IITs and NITs. faculties are always there in working ours to help you and assist you with works.
Internships Opportunities :
i am currently in first year , so i have not not opted for any internships , internships opportunities are available . As far as i know if you acquire skills then you apply for internships in companies .
Placement Experience :
the placement is not that much good here , like its depends on yo if you study hard and acquire skills you will get placed . over the past year there is a minimal growth in placements . for more details on placements you can visit institute official website.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the total tuition fee per year is 160000 only, if you will hostel and dining fee are 67000 thousand per year . note : there is complete tuition fee waiver for SC and ST students as gov. rules. you can also apply for various scholarships private as well as gov. based on the criteria where you fall in. Only For first semester the total tuition fee is 138900 and for other semester is 122400 . So the total tuition fee for 8 semester or 4 year btech is 995700 for general and ews candidates , for SC , ST and category there is less fees , for more details you visit the website. the data above is for 2024 batch for other batches it can vary.
Campus Life :
it is depends totally depends on your likes and dislikes , library and classroom facilities are so good , library is equipped with all important books for your academics and books for other subjects, fields, topics , general books are also available . you can also issue books to read . About sports , i would say it is so satisfying and best , all sports games - indoor and outdoor like chess , carrom, badminton , cricket, football , table tennis , long tennis , basketball, etc with proper equipment's and ground and courts are available , time to time they conduct so many events for students. If you are someone who likes sports then you will have fun here. coming to social as it is north majority students are from souths so you can face language issue see diversities here . clubs like music, dance, fub, drama, coding, esports and others clubs are active , but are not that good and active , maybe in future they will perform well as per my expectations
Hostel Facilities :
hostel life is best with all the necessary facilities . there are double and triple sharing rooms for first year boys students , and for second year double sharing is there , from 3rd year you can opt for single bed rooms. hostel fees is affordable and including dining charges it is about 67000 per year. the food quality is good , but students from north they do not like is much . veg and non veg both facilities are available

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
