Affordability. Being from a humble background, MBA was an unaffordable dream for me until I saw this Institute. They have such affordable program and the roi of this college is also very good. Hence I choose this college.
The course unlike IIM's 3 term program. They follow the usual 2 semester per year. Though this method helps us get indepth knowledge of the courses we study. This doesn't covers the practical learning side. The faculty are well versed in their subjects where few professors articles are published in American journals. There are semester exams end of each semester and a mid term exam just after 2.5 months into the program. The teaching method is good but a little fast to cover the vast portion of syllabus.
No, I haven't opted for internship yet. The student body only takes care of the internships. Till now for our batch companies like Arcesium and citi bank have come to the campus. They recruited few for the coming summer. The stipend which they provided was rs 40000-rs 60000. But the average stands at rs 30000.
The student body takes care of the placement. Mostly companies like Banks, financial, data analytics companies come in huge number. Around 70% of the previous batch was placed. This year's highest package is 28LPA and median salary stands around 12LPA. The profiles are Data analyst, financial roles offered.
Yearly fees- rs 49820/- Student Body Fund - rs 40000/- Fee waiver available 1)a fee waiver upto 100% of actual fee or upto a maximum of Rs.10,000/- as the family income is less than Rs.4,00,000/- per annum. 2) a fee waiver upto 50% of the actual fee or upto a maximum of Rs. 8,000/- as the family income is more than Rs.4,00,000/- and less than or equal to Rs.8,00,000/- per annum.
When it comes to social and campus life. There is nothing big to be honest. As said there is a fund called Student Body fund that is optional but only by paying that, one becomes eligible to take part in the sports and cultural events. There are several clubs for marketing, finance, social service, editorial and entrepreneurship. These all groups are run by students only.
The hostel rooms are good. Food is also good but the toilets aren't something that can be praised. After a month into the course, the hostel rolls out the application form costing rs 250/-. This form is then submitted to the hostel office. They later prepare a merit list for the students. But one drawback is that there are only 10-12 vacancies available for our department. There are special quota for North Eastern people giving them the first right over the hostel.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
