Likes
- Colleges many labs and a big library with multiple reading rooms has a green campus is full of trees.
- College has an indoor stadium and huge ground.
Dislikes
- I wish faculty good adopt to the new technology and teach new stuff but VTU syllabus is too old for that.
- And the college lacs and coding culture but through Google developer groups just ya we are trying to inculcated in our college by conducting workshops.
Remarks :
I visited the college for CET verification and then I couldn't get into BVB but I got this for all three rounds and that why I'm in this college and my parents didn't allow me to go to Bengaluru, I had did get few Bengaluru college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In our college exams are held every month the internal exams and Sem end occurs once every 4 to 5 month. The exam difficulty ranges from medium to hard and can be managed with one day of study as well. I choose the course because I was interested in computer and the faculty have completed the phd at least most of them but the teaching method is a bit old and district to the textbook and textbook is too old for current Technology.
Internships Opportunities :
I was offered internship at an company named falca E solutions in Bangalore where I develop python based automation for their business reports and help them in migration from SQL database to MongoDB for better compatibility between different databases. I got this internship through referral this was not from college
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for the placement depends on the companies so college have no such policy to make a student in eligible for placements but they have they do have four tyre placement scheme to help students get different offers and a student can hold up to 4 of us maths and few of the recruiter company include Sony London stock exchange group rakuten Wipro TCS Accenture etc. Previous year highest package was around 38 LP and lowest trouser on 3.6 lpa average lying around 6 to 7 LP under 60 to 70% of the students in the previous year I got placed in 10 to 15% have after to pursue their masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees increases every year and management fees goes upto 50 to 70k every year but you will pay the same amount every year which was quoted to you at the start of the college. Hostel is around 45k to 60k with preferences yearly and has mess included. CET is less than one lakh and comedk is around 216000 but comedk exams are not being conducted. Management fees is around 600000 for Computer science
Campus Life :
We have around 3 big fest happening every year and smaller smaller once happening every month or in every 2 month the major fest of the year will be insignia which occurs around May June and then comes Fiesta which occurs around November December and there will be a first for freshers as well. College has indoor stadium and use ground and our college teams compete in VTU level and above and we do have our college team for every sport so our college supports sport and extra curricular activities. There are student community clubs dance team singing teams media and many more
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel registration is pretty easy and the fees comparative to any other campus offering engineering would cost you more than here and the stay facility of the hostel is pretty good and food menu is pretty good and have ice cream service Saturdays and special every Saturdays but they will be no my speciality is on Sunday so students are allowed to go outside and have their food and if the student refers to take a PG or a room they can choose between Gandhinagar vidyagiri and around tejasv Nagar.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
