JNTUH college review
Remarks :
There were many factors that made me choose this college.One of the factor is good placements.One of the good aspect of my college is good atmosphere for students.I wrote eamcet entrance examination to get into this college.My rank was 4066.Cutoff was decent for all branches.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose CSE department specifically because I was particularly impressed with this department which provided rigorous coursework balanced with hands on projects that prepared me for workforce.The faculty were PhD graduates of prestigious IITs and they were highly knowledgeable and approachable.They were always willing to support students with mentorship and guidance.
Internships Opportunities :
Since iam first year student I did not applied for any internships but there are many availabilities for internships for students.Companies like Amazon Google CERD offer internships for students. projects and hackathons are also available .
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is maintaining decent gpa and good communication skills are required.Few visited recruiters are Google and Microsoft and other companies.The highest package in 2023 was INR 44 LPA and average package was INR 8 LPA.Mostly 600 out of 720 students are getting placements .My plan after getting degree is to build a start up and run a buisness.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee Structure of JNTUH college of Engineering Hyderabad for government employees children and for non-government employees children is same that is perfect semester 50000Rs and per year 100000Rs.And there are scholarships available for non-government employees children and special scholarship such as merit scholarship available for students who maintain nice cgpa.
Campus Life :
The life at campus was really amazing.Many social clubs are available and one club that is run by students is data science club. There is wide range of availability of books and journals in our library students can read international books if they are intersted.Sports are conducted every month.Recently a fest unveil 2024 was conducted.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for a hostel.The hostel mess provides decent food which are rich in nutrients.Food provided in mess is sufficiently enough for students for a healthy life.Registration process is very simple.We have to fill a form and pay 100rs to hostel head and they decide accordingly to our information.The hostel rooms were good and decent.The infrastructure of hostel is nice and quality of rooms should be improvised in upcoming years.

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

In our district kamala is the only college with highest placement records .many more MNC are visiting our college and student are getting placed in many companies with highest packages and currently they are leading good lifes

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
