Likes
- The library is very spacious and there are various types of books for worthy, there is a girls common room , that is a very good thing about the college, girls can go relax during breaks.
- There are shops and cafe booths like Nescafe and verka , you can enjoy with your friend and unwind from studies.
Dislikes
- The canteen, it does not have variety of products and the infrastructure is very poorly manged.
Remarks :
I chose this college because of the location and for the facilities it provides, this college is co-ed and the subject choices in this college are different and more valuable to me then others , there were no interview, group discussion or entrance exams , it was easy to take admission through DHE website, and the admission is purely based on merit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it's important for the studies I want to pursue further, the faculty is highly educated and very helpful, the teaching is not very efficient because the teachers are usually absent and are not taking classes regularly, under the NEP we have new subjects but the teacher is never available , and during exam times it creates a burden on students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is decided by semesters , thus fee for 6 months is 10 thousand minus the examination fee, the other fees like development, lab fees and any other fees are included in the semester wise fees. The fees for all courses are different and there are scholarship programs for backward classes and other students who belong to the economically weaker sections.
Campus Life :
So far i have not seen an fest or other such activities, there is a possibility to youth fest being conducted during October, but that is only for the students who are participating in activities, the college didn't hold any official party for freshers and there are no clubs except for dramatic club , which holds auditions and not everyone can pass it. There are no compulsory extra curricular activities and some competitors are held within the college level , sports competition are held but only for college team players.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
