MY DAYS AT YUVARAJA'S COLLEGE

- I love,i admire the nature of our college because it is completely filled with trees ,birds sound ,flower plants and it is so nice to watch the greenary and sometimes I sing a song and admire the nature and yes especially during rainy season.
- Faculties are supportive and good at responding to our doubt about the syllabus or curriculum.
Dislikes
- The one thing I dislike about our college is about our office staffs they make us to wait too long if any work of us to be done .
- The examination fee is little bit more expense which not worth of it .
Remarks :
I choose this college because it is nearer to my home town and Yuvaraja's college is well known reputated college in Mysore.And moreover I wanted to pursue my degree in life science so I choose this college. The admission process is completely based on merit score of our PUC(12th standard).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Microbiology as my main subjective course because I am very interested and curious about learning and know about the little creature of our life that is bacteria, viruses etc.And mainly I am interested in working at industrial field and i thought this subject will lead to much more way to learn about basic hence I choose this course. The facilities in our College are very talented in their own way of teaching some are PhD holders too.The teaching method is unique with each one of them. Most of them teach the basic of that concept but not in advance level...but some of the lectures will try to teach as much as advance level concept and enhance our knowledge in easy way. The difficulty of paper is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't attainded any interships as it is not compulsary in our college. They didn't conducted any interships programs in college.But we use to make some of the projects by our own during which the other colleges visit to look after our projects and give a review. This is done behafe of our departments with the help of our lectures.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement or job opportunity in our college.As it is a government college they can't afford the risk of conducting the interview for each one of the department.As it a UG program they can't conduct the placement by keeping the eligibility of the students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
General-5000-10000 SC/ST-1000- 5000 I belong to general category I pay nearly about 10000 per year as my tution fee.As i belong to general category I won't get any scholarship amount. They provide SSP scholarship amount of around 12000 to 14000 for SC /ST students and detect the tution fee or caution fee in the scholarship amount only.
Campus Life :
I love my degree life at my college rather than studies and curriculum we friends had so much memories and fun in our campus especially during our college fests it is named as YUREKA it is mostly conducted during May,June or July. We have a very disciplined and well maintained library which contain many different blocks filled with bundle of books which helps each of the students of Yuvaraja's college whoever pursued different course.We can daily update our knowledge by reading newspaper not only through English paper also in different languages. Our college conduct sports day each year and give an opportunity to elligable candidates and bright there life even more ,not only the sports also they also conduct different kinds of cultural activities and honor them with the prizes. We Yuvaraja's students created a group in social media named 'Yuvaraja's memes '.
Hostel Facilities :
I am hosteler .The hostel facilities they provide is quite good.But the quality of food is bad .The registeration process is simple as that they provide a hostel application form which we should fill with our personal and previous year college details and with parents signature.The admission fee is 10000 per year with 1900 monthly mess fee. The menu is as follows Monday-lemon rice Tuesday -idli sambar Wednesday -rice bath Thursday -puliogare Friday -again rice bath Saturday -chow chow bath Sunday -Dosa.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
