Admission process was very simple, you have to just give an entrance exam and you are good to go. College does not care about your percentage and all. Though faculty and staff is really good and helpful but the student crowd was good as I expected. If you’re not Marathi or someone who don’t know Marathi you might face some problem in making friends.
College promotes that they are giving you a mass communication degree but it’s not, it’s actually an BBA degree with mass communication specialisation and there are many more specialisation courses available. So in 1st year you are going to study BBA and from the second year degree will be more focused on your specialisation. And about faculty tbh they were really good with so I’ll say that faculty is good and supportive.
Yeah I did 2 internships in second year, one was in my home town and I was hired as an influencer marketer and the 2nd one was in Pune it self I was hired there as an content creator and social media manager.
Faculty members frequently shares the internship opportunities to the WhatsApp groups and college is really supportive with the internships and job opportunities if you will provide the offer letter they won’t stop you from doing it.
Out of Maharashtra students have to extra 10000 every year, college divide’s the fee payment in 3 instalments in gap of 2 months. There are also some extra payables like exam form fee for every semester it is something around 2500-3000 and if you’ll surpass the last day of paying exam form fee then you have double amount:
Infrastructure is okayish I don’t really liked it but it’s okay you can manage with it, making friends can be difficult thing for non Marathi people and tbh I don’t liked the student crowd. Canteen food is also not good but there are few thelas outside the college where you can find good food.
Please don’t go to college hostel they will eventually kick you out in the second year so they can provide hostel services to the new batch so my suggestion would be to lookout for PGs you can find so many PGs near the college only by this I mean walking distance.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
