- The clg teaching staff is very friendly and highly qualified.. and the campus looks pretty decent..
- The clg infrastructure is also very good and it's new.. campus life is peaceful
Dislikes
- You do have to compramise a lil in summer as the temp might reach 40°c and the hostel rooms doesn't have acs
- There's a canteen in the campus and the prices of food in the canteen is a bit high..(in other clgs the prices in canteen are low and affordable)
Remarks :
For admissions.. one need to qualify in jee mains and have to go through the josa counselling process (which is quite simple) and then get the admission in the clg.. this clg is one of the fastest growing nit in India and is also new and have latest lab equipment so I choose this clg for my career
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite well balanced and has sports etc.. it's we'll balanced between theory and lab subjects.. the teachers r quite friendly and the lab technicians are also friendly.. the course is well divided so as they don't pressure an individual
Internships Opportunities :
Unfortunately the clg doesn't provide any internship.. but you can do the internships on ur own accord.. there r many sources and opportunities available for internships for you to utilise.. there r both paid and stipend internships available..
Placement Experience :
You need to have cgpa of 6.5 or above to sit for the placements.. and nit ap has a decent placements.. highest package is of 45lpa and the avg packages here r around 6-8lpa.. leaving this recession period.. the avg percentage of placements here are around 85% which is quite decent one.. i plan on doing mtech after my btech course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fee for tution fee is 65,000+65,000=130000 and for Most economically backward (MEB) students (whose family annual income below 1 Lakh), they get a full refund of tution fee while OEB - Other economically backward (family income 1 to 5 lakhs /year) get a part of tution fee refund (around 1/3rd) And there is no tution fee for sc/St students..(only 3k) Some of my friends have even received scholarships from nsp The fee is increasing yearly as per the requirements
Campus Life :
We have two fests a year.. techkriya and vulcunzy.. techkriya is conducted on October end.. and vulcunzy on March end.. the campus also has a library which is open until 12 and has all kind of books related to the subject.. the classrooms are also very clean and has a digital functional also.. we also have inter nit competitions which encourage you to participate in competition among other nits.. the campus is very encouraging regarding sports.. there r many clubs for the individual interests like ai robotics club, club for dancing singing etc..
Hostel Facilities :
The detailed process for hostel application will be guided by the institute staff itself.. so no need to worry about that..and the hostels r so good they r clean.. for first year it's 4 sharing.. and for 2nd and third years it's 2 sharing.. and for 4th years is one sharing.. coming to the hostel mess food.. it's better than most of the clgs.. we have variety of dishes and it's good overall

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
