- We have an Indoor Stadium which is so good .
Dislikes
- Food is not good.There are many complaints about food already in the college.
- Faculty is in very bad situation in the campus due to existence of no permanent faculty.
Remarks :
This college was not on my checklist but it happened. My ST Rank was 691 and I expected some better NITs as per the previous year cutoff scores but due to high competition for the Computer Science branch, I had no choice but this.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Each year is different. First Year has every branch's subjects and from the second year the branch division happens and then for each semester there are atleast 5 subjects and 2 labs. Teaching is average due to no permanent faculty. There are only Adhoc Faculty who teaches us. We have 2 Minors, 1 Mid and End Semester Exams and they are quite difficult for the Computer Science branch.
Internships Opportunities :
I am searching for companies to join for an internship. I have done a project in my second year which is on Deep and Machine Learning in which we have created a model which takes x-ray images as input and check whether the brain has tumor or not.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria would be around 6 CGPA but most of the companies prefer a candidate with 7 CGPA. There are companies like Samsung, Wipro, etc who visit frequently. Average package now for CSE Branch is around 9 LPA and highest is 30 LPA There is 75 percent placements in the campus. I am currently thinking about going abroad and persue MBA if at all I do not get place in campus interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the SCs and the SCs there is no need to pay the tuition fee. Only Hostel Fee is considered which is around 30000 per semester and each semester takes 5-6 months. There are scholarships like NSP which gives around 70k to 1 lakh for the students.
Campus Life :
Every NIT conducts a cultural fest every year and for us it is called as "Vulcanzy" and it is usually held on October after Mid Examinations. Books are available at the library and you get a mail after lending the book from Library and it also reminds to return it before deadline. We have a Cricket Ground, Football Ground , Badminton Court, Squash Court, Handball Court and also for all the extracurricular activities such as singing, dancing, etc there is a seperate dedicated building which is SAC(Students Amenities Centre) There are various clubs in the college and you can join in them by attending interviews every year. Some of them are PnP(Photography and Painting), Graphic Cafe, Brindavanam Club, etc
Hostel Facilities :
Food Quality is not the best. There are good food days and bad equally. Chicken will be served weekly twice on Wednesday and Sunday. We can register for the room a through an app called NIT AP HMS which is available on Play Store and App Store.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
