To join in this college I attended online interview. The admission process was really smooth. This college recently turned autonomous and no longer comes under Bangalore University. Every semester we have to pay a certain amount as exam fees.
The course I’m doing is Masters in social work the carriculum is pretty decent with all important topics. First year is general subjects and second year onwards the specialisation starts. People from other degrees courses can also apply for this course and first year will help to brush up all the topics for the newcomers who wasn’t doing social work.
Have done my internship at a child rights organisation worked with children and gained lot of experience- CRY : child rights and you Also have done my field work at Shishu mandir which is a school for children living in underprivileged situations.
Our teachers and the department opts the best organisations to do our internships and field works and we have a placement cell and timely orientation on placement opportunities to keep us updated. Every semester we have concurrent field work and sem end block placement.
First year while joining we payed 1,00,000 rupees which included registration fees, tuition fees and uniform fees. Second year fees is around 78,000. Since I’m general category student and non Karnataka student I didn’t have any fees reduction but students can apply for scholarships and people who come under sc/st have their privileges in fees structure.
Life at campus is good new buildings are constructing for better facilities. We have a gym inside the campus and three canteen currently. Various feats from each department’s and ethic day and many more cultural and educational fests are conducted. Well organised library and equipped computer labs etc are also available . The college has everything a student needs
They have two girls hostel and a boys, but I’m staying in an apartment nearby. There are good Pg’s for both boys and girls nearby and also mess facilities. People might find it difficult to adjust with the food
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
