I decided to join this college because I saw so many good reviews in the good and well it didn't disappoint. It's pretty good as i expected except there are flaws in every college right? But compared to other colleges this is not bad. And I joined here because of the placements and good teaching. My friend recommend it too. There was an interview before the admission. And also written test which I didn't take but my other classmates did.
There will be department fests and other course related curriculums. If you have concern on the college not doing any fest don't worry because claret has it all. I choose BCA because I was more passionate about technology and coding. Which now i totally not enjoy but i chose this path for a reason and so I'm learning. There will be events on coding and everything which will have cash prices. Coming to academics the they will teach you great. And faculties are surprisingly not bad. They are good at what they do. Just following what the faculty says will be enough for you to ace the exams and stuffs
The college has given us good internship at 1st semester and there are good opportunities in last year of the degree at top companies. Interested students can opt for it. The company is like Amazon and others will provide internship opportunities to the students but the students must select good internship companies to work in and get more knowledge about their future.
The placements are good. You need to have good CGPA in order to get placement in good company. The companies that are offered from the college are Wipro, Dito, Deloitte etc. Which are great companies. I might persue MCA after BCA or if I get good package in a good company I'll go there.
Year wise we will pay 85000 in 2 installments. 1st installment is half of an year's tuition fee for odd semester and 2nd for even semester for that year. For my course it is worth it. And if you want any specialization there will me additional cost for that according to which specialisation you choose. There is AI&ML and Data Science course each have particular fee. And then you an go for the regular BCA too. If you are looking for best college under the budget for BCA. St. Claret is pretty well for it. At the time of admission you have to pay application fee and that's it no additional cost. Lab fees and other fees are included in the complete amount. And then there will be exam fee that you need to pay for Bangalore University. But now that our college become autonomous you don't have to do that. There is scholarships given by college as merit scholarships and financial aid scholarship. And also one given from government called SSP
The infrastructure for the college is not that big but there is greenary everywhere which will make a positive impact on you. Then there will be so many fests in a month except for the month of exam. And the Library is well maintained you'll get every course's books and also surprisingly fictional books. Anything is available. Also there are so many groups and clubs you can be in which will make your social life brightness and helps you get out of your comfort zone for good. There is separate app for students to track their attendance and also internals. And also UUCMS for their semester exam results.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
