The only factor that o had in mind when i chose the college was the reputation. I knew that the infrastructure is not that big and the placements aswell. Coming to the teachers part..some senior teachers are real bad at teaching. It may be cz they have taught the same thing for years n feel like students will understand from their experienced perspective. But honestly for first years it becomes very difficult if u get a senior teacher. Otherwise they're chill and good. When i got admission i had first applied for a professional course for which i had to write an entrance exam which was quite difficult for me as it was more of math and logical reasoning. And i didn't get selected cz i had failed the exam but few of my friends who had done well also weren't selected. So yea do a lot of discrimination when it comes to Hindus or Muslims. They try to select most of the Christians as possible. But i got selected when i applied again for a regular course which was merit based.
I had no other option but to choose this course cz i couldn't get selected for the course I wanted. I had initially applied for b.com (strategic finance - CMA) but as i didn't get selected i applied for B.com regular and decided to do CMA from an outside institute. As i said before some senior teachers don't teach properly and don't give the exact materials. My accounts teacher is the worse. He literally dictates accounts. But other young teachers do they're job upto the mark. I have completed one sem and wrote my mid and end sem exams. They give more preference to logical thinking and application. So they keep a separate section in the paper for that itself which is a good thing n I didn't feel it was that difficult.
Im still in first sem so have no idea about placements but I did hear that its quite bad from my seniors. One guy who couldn't get placed started a startup and has put a stall in the college canteen itself.
The fees i paid without any management quota was 87000 for first year. The application fee was rs.800 and is different for other courses. The college also charges a registration fee of rs.500 for each semester end examination if u fail to pay it within the given time then there will be a fine of rs.200 for it. There are plenty of scholarships available in the college. From different corporates as well like reliance. They also offer a management scholarship. There are midday meal schemes as well. I heard that some people got admission through management quota had paid almost 3-15 lakhs.
Campus life is quite good. Although the campus is small ull find the best people here. The clubs they have are also numerous and quite fun. I have joined the ROTARACT club. There are several other clubs for dance singing drama etc. They have two main fests in one year. First is the kalotsav which is a intra collegiate fest during the month of September. Second is Dhwani. This is a inter collegiate fest and its during November or December. They do have a lot of sports options including carrom chess as well. And are quite supportive in that as well.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
