- Our campus is smaller when compared to other colleges
- There is no parking facilities for the car and the basement is also too small
Remarks :
This college is said to be one of the best commerce college in Bangalore. My course just had personal interview but other courses had aptitude test as well as a oral test and finally a personal interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course (bcom travel management) as I was very much interested in tourism. The faculty are excellent with their experience. The term exams are not much difficult, medium level difficulty.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college provides intership opportunities only after our 4th semester as it is compulsory to complete a social internship. Goldman Sachs is of the company where we get an opportunity to work for, we get to work as an employee for a few period of time. But not everyone gets into it so most of them look for internship by themselves.
Placement Experience :
There is placement opportunities at this college and that is one of the reason for me to join the college. There are about 20% of students who gets into placements. All Big 4 companies come to SJCC for recruitment and also few other companies too. Average package is around 20 Lakh p.a. My plan is to work in an airport as my course is related to tourism.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly we will have to pay 95,000, they also give installment option. Yes, they do provide scholarship for the eligable students and there are 2 scholarship one from the management and other is from the Old student association, where students get an average of 20,00 from each. My other batchmates who have taken Bcom ACCA has paid a fee amount of 135,000.
Campus Life :
The campus life is astonishing as there will be some or the other sort of competition or events being conducted. The library is equipped with all necessary books or documents. There are two major fests that happen, one in the month of August and other in January. They do conduct sports activities in the month of November. There are more than 50 clubs in the college.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
