Remarks :

the college has their own selection process which consists of three round. it starts with downloading the form from the college website fill the form by your own handwriting and needed to the college with a DD of rupees thousand after that you will be notified about the entrance state during which you have to be present there the first round starts with aptitude test which consist 150 questions in 90 minutes the second round is group discussion basically the general awareness topics are given with a 4 panel member and 15 students and the last term is with the dean of the college and the trustee. I have prepared for my entrance from a NCERT book called guide to hotel management. the factor that made me choose this college was this college gives your degree of culinary art not hotel management. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to be a chef so I join this college

Course Curriculum Overview :

well the course consists of 3 years in the first year we have two semester in the first semester we learn about the Indian cuisines in theory and practical. the second semester is about continental cuisine. in 2nd year the third semester is about bulking and the fourth semester is industrial training which is done in a five star hotel and in the final year we learn about the world cuisine. we have two unit test in every semester and the semester examination was done in other college centre also accept from a 5 star hotel you're could come for a practical exam evaluator as I said earlier that from the beginning I have my interest in cooking so I knew that I don't want to do hotel management I want a degree culinary arts that's why I choose this one

Internships Opportunities :

yes I have applied for internship in Taj deccan hotel which is in Banjara hills Hyderabad. colleges help me providing this training. in training your basically your help for where you have to cut these chop that bring the bring that. they want allow you to cook anything because it's a five star property and they don't want to take the risk of ruining their the reputation by letting a trainee cook a food for guest. as 5 star hotel are not shortage of staff you want get chance to learn everything. you will only be doing whatever has been told to you. during my training are used to work 12-13 hours everyday. and the stipend I used to got is 1250. this internship has got marks for your 4th semester. it depends on how well you perform in the training

Placement Experience :

in terms of placement and internship college very good as a talk earlier that in the 4th semester you have to do a industrial training in a 5 star hotel that time college will help you to get that training. during which you will on amount between 1000 to 5000 depending on the property. and talking about placement college gives good placement in international cruises. where the salary will be between 55 to 70000 per month. college also help you to get MT training in 5 star hotel. it's basically management training in which you have to do the training of 18 month and after that you will be given the post of SOUS CHEF which is the second highest post in the kitchen. getting this MT training is not easy because it has 5-6round of interview. of course college will help you in this.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee structure for the first year was 133500 tuition fee-40000 other fees-10000 working lunch-21000 miscellaneous (admission fees bag books uniform lab fees journal)- 62500 fee structure of 2nd year is 109000 tuition fees-40000 other fees-10000 working lunch 12500 theme setup 5000 miscellaneous 41500 fee structure of 3rd year 129000 tuition fees 40000 other fees 10000 working lunch 21000 miscellaneous 58000 scholarships are provided to only those students who have completed their intermediate from Osmania University the caste system only helps you to get a seat during the selection process it doesn't help in any concession in the fees and the scholarship amount is between 40 to 50000

Campus Life :

well if you talk about campus then I'm sorry culinary academy of India don't act any campus. it's just a seven floor building which has got lab classroom toilet library and lift nothing else. but when we talk about the library I believe it the best library in India in terms of culinary. it consist of the book starting from the basics to larousse. for those who don't know what larousse is.. let me tell you it is called the Bible of culinary. culinary academy of India don't have any sport activity with they have anything that only culinary competition in which the college got an award and the students for the certificate. the awards are being frame in the reception area to glorify the college.

Hostel Facilities :

well if you talk about hostel I will tell it was not that good because students wear not allowed to eat inside the hostel, first of all they don't have any mess and if the student want to order something online he can't just because of the hostel rule of not eating any food inside hostel premises. in that area there is only one hotel called NEEDS. apart from that restaurant there is nothing in the range of 1 km so you have to walk to have your food and on the other hand college will give you task and assignment which need to be submitted the next day and they don't want to hear any kind of excuse that you're tired you to get time so, talking about I will dinner means almosting your one or one and half hour of time. the hostel has two floor. on the top floor it's a big hall with dorms beds where 16 students stays together and have four common toilets in bathroom.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
