yes as i have taken lateral entry in btech so i had to write the ipu cet-128 exam and secured a rank and go through the counselling process i chose this college as it was in my budget and was very nearby to my home
my course is btech cse (core) it includes various computer related and technical subjects the college follows ipu syllabus as it is affiliated to ipu so you can download and check the syllabus from ipu website. The faculty of this college is ok-ok some teachers are very nice and supportive but some doesn't really understand the student's problems and pressure they just keep giving you work want to make you busy
i haven't really opted for internship yet but i will try in my 2nd year as currently i am working on my skills and training myself to be the best outcome in my upcoming internship and here are some tech societies which helps in getting internship and providing opportunities
as i am a 2nd year student i also don't know much about the placements but taking with seniors i got to know that it is average to mid only not so big FAANG companies visiting if the student have skills then they can get placed in some good companies like uber, bookmyshow otherwise mass recruiters are there
the total fees for my 2nd year (lateral entry) they charged me was 1,58,500 which includes security deposit of 10k and 4k library so by reducing it 1,44,500 will be the fess after the first year and they take dd and online payment only no cash
campus is very small really this is the biggest drawback of gtbit that the campus is not so lavish and huge it is really small but one good thing that it does provide parking for 2 wheeler kf students which is good and also talking about societies and clubs there are so many societies to join for students and the best part ieee gtbit society is the best ieee in the whole ipu and also the gdsc club is very active and also encourages you to join it
the colleges doesn't have hostel facilities so migrated students have to take PG to stay as mentioned that the campus is very small which is somewhere becomes a pain for students who migrated here to study in this college
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
