I got a bad score in MHT-CET so I didn't got the college that I want , so I learnt about this university that is linked with PCCOE and comes under the PCET group itself and this is the second year of this university, so I'm hoping for my best
As long as I've seen the faculty here are very good except some but it's ok , the faculty got 10-15 years of experience in their field and most of them have done PhD and most of them used to teach in very well knowned colleges. They are very strict but lenient also . After a month only we had to give our first Unit test it was very decent honestly , but the sem exams are difficult. The only problem is that faculty can't complete their syllabus in the given time so we have to attend some extra classes
No, I didn't opted for any internship but I'm looking for a part time job fit for my skills. Here, we are not so sure about any placements so we have to focus on our skills . There is a 70% chance that we are going for freelancing if this didn't work out but at the end of the day we only hope for the best
This is the university's 2nd year only so they got no placements and internship till now but they assured us that the placements will held at PCCOE for those whose CGPA is above 8.5 and have at least 80% attendence
So, The detailed structure of the fees is that 2,10,000rs per year and 10,000 rs is increasing per year and 1,30,000 for hostel(boys). The management told us that any student that have 85% above score in 10th and 12th boards will get 15-25% scholarship, I have that score but there is no progress till now . There are no other fees than these except 6,000 for uniform and at least 1500 for sem fees.
The campus is not so big, there are only 4 buildings, two for classes and one for management and admission and one is for girls hostel which is new , last year the girls and the boys hostel were same. So this year they separate it . Boys hostel is 5 km away from campus. The social life depends on one's personality but in my case it's decent and clubs there aren't any clubs that attract me till now . Fests Don't happen in this university only when there is some function otherwise only Study study and study. In library they got every book for every course and every class have a projector. Extracurricular activities also happens like badminton, Table tennis and other they conduct like tournament, but with not other colleges .
The hostel is very bad , the management for it is not so organised. So , the hostel is not the hostel actually it's a 3 building residencial society. The hostel mess is shit , not properly cooked, every thing tastes the same can't tell any difference what's this and what's that. The chapatis are made with fevikwik so that you can use your both hands to break it , it's for exercise. The hostel is located in nowhere literally nowhere you have to walk for 10-15 mins for some settlement for anything you want, they ofc provide bus services for traveling to the college . They got no proper internet connectivity. The only good part about this is that they got a pool and some nice indoor games and a good view . They also have Washing machines for clothes and the room are clean once in a every week .
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
