The college was very near to my house and they were also providing full scholarships, so I chose this college The good thing about this college is that the principal is always available for your work, meaning your documentation and all those things so you don't have to wait in line or take appointment like other colleges The principal himself looks forward to doing your work The admission process is quite simple and not too lengthy, and it is not necessary to submit your documents at one time; you can submit documents anytime. One thing I don't like about this college is that it does not have any campus and it's just a straight building and a very limited area not even a space to celebrate functions
I chose this course because I didn't want to do BCOM as I'm from commerce background so I wanted to do something different and I chose this course and at first I didn't understand anything but after sometime I started to like coding and now all I do is code all the time. Faculties have mostly done Masters, and the principal has done PhD, and teachers are not too good, but you will understand somewhat of their teaching if you self-study. There were no in-sem exams, only the semester exams form SPPU and it was not too difficult to pass.
There are no internships provided by the college. You have to find jobs or internships on your own or else you will get nothing. Do not rely on this college for placements or any kind of internships just search on your own
There are no placements in this college. My 3 years in this college, not a single company visited. No packages offered and no pofiles offered. 0% of students are placed. I wanted to do a job in some IT company, but the college is so bad that not even a single company visited.
As I have received scholarship from the government, I don't have to pay any tuition fees; all was covered by the government through post-matriculation scheme, Admission fees was 1000 rupees and that's it. Scholarships forms are filled by college staff you just need to have correct documents like domicile, income and caste certificate. Open category batchmates have to pay between 35000-45000 per year Students who are from different states and this is the first time they are taking the admission in sppu have to double the fees or they can make a deal with that you will not leave college for the whole course period. Scholarships are received in students bank accounts, and they have to pay 60% of their total received fees and students can keep 40%, which is mostly 11000. No entrance test is needed
At first this college had a little campus and students could celebrate some functions like navararti or traditional days, but last year they shifted from that building to another building, and now that building does not have any campus, just a parking area, and there are no clubs, no social life, no infrastructure, and nothing. Even if you wanted to do something, college will not provide you funds for it; you will have to do it by yourself. Students can celebrate days like traditional day, red and chocolate day, twins day and some more, but inside the college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
