My opinion on presidency college

- I like the their teaching staffs as it is easy to understand.
Dislikes
- The one thing which I don't like is college campus as it is a bit small compared to other college.
Remarks :
I choose presidency college as it was near to my home. I joined late in college so I they didn't ask me interview or any tests. They gave me admission directly without any procedure as I was a late joiner. Good thing is that the college give you much freedom compared to other colleges. Cons are the campus is a bit small. As I told I got admission without any problem and process was easy for me and the cut off marks is 65% for BBA course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen BBA as I am passionate about being a entrepreneur or a business manager. The teachers are well trained and professional in their work. They teach very well and easy to understand if you have any doubt they will clear it for you. 6 month once there will be a semester in between that they keep mid term exams. The exams are easy as the portions are less to study.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees in presidency is 135000 for BBA course. In case you are from outside Karnataka you should pay a extra fees of 10,000 as non Karnataka residence. If you studied in presidency high school before they will give a discount of 20,000 as a ex-presidency student. The fees is pretty much reasonable for what they provide compared to other colleges. Even merit and scholarships are available but I don't have much idea of that. The fees can paid altogether or semester wise also depends upon you.
Campus Life :
Our college conducted a fest( kalopsia) where they called big youtuber and a rapper krsna. It was fun we all enjoyed the fest even the students from different college were allowed to attend the fest. They conducted it in the month of September 2024. In our college library every books and journals are available. We have 3 library in our college. In presidency college they encourage both sports and extracurricular activities and give a cut off attendance of 25% if you are in any of the college sports team. There are around 10 clubs which you can choose from and they even offer you DSA which is for learning any new things.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
